Hi, we are working in a remote part of Malawi Africa with a cat 236D. The warning light for the air filter came on in the cabin (flashing amber). The machine started to idle very roughly and then the engine would cut out, we stopped using the machine until we could get a replacement filter. We have replaced the primary and the secondary filter but the alarm is still on and it still idles roughly then cuts out. Is there a reset switch we need to push or does this sound like a fuel problem?

This is a pretty useless video. Simply advertisement for CAT filters. It should explain how you service primary filters, but these guys like to hear themselves talk.
