Although (almost) everyone is concentrating on Thomas’ voice (in Ariana’s role) as opposed to Egon’s voice (in Lady Gaga’s role), can we just take a moment to recognise that the second-last emphatic ‘me’ (sung as part of the emphatic line RAIN - ON - ME) is sung by Egon rather than by Thomas. This is the highest note in the entire song. In Egon’s case, it is sung in falsetto (as opposed to ‘natural’ voice), but it is there and it is sung ‘on point’. Well done, Egon. That note’s a hard one for most guys.
