Man.... for courses like that and ones from Wayne Dixon, is why I can´t quit my CGCookie subscription....😅 Amazing job, this course looks like it will definitely help me understand the basis of shading. Something I'm struggling till this day to understand...
Is that white transition (I'm struggling to find the right term....maybe fade is more appropriate?) to the objects actual materials animation something taught within the course? I've been working on an animation and I've envisioned this type of transition, but I can't really grasp how to create that.
All CGcookies courses are available on their website as a subscription service, you're allowed to download I think 2 courses/month permanently? It's like $30 a month and can always be stopped. Atleast it was like a year and a half ago when I was using their services.
@@akatrent88 They're correct, for $29/mo you'll get to start watching this course and have instant access to hundreds more. It's a pretty rad deal, heh but we're a bit biased. ;) Happy Blending! - Wes
Yes, this course is available on cgcookie.com, for $29/mo you'll be able to start watching this course and have instant access to dozen or more courses. It's like getting a bakers dozen of cookies, but different. 😅 - Wes

I'm confused now because it sounded like you said Shaders and Materials do the same thing, determine how light reacts to the object.
Shaders determine how the material acts. They are pretty much the same thing.
Is it possible to buy this course permanently without subscription? :)
Sure thing! It's available on the Blender Market: blendermarket.com/products/fundamentals-of-blender-materials-and-shading
Man I'd love to purchase this course but I can't understand how much will it cost? Any help?
