The kit I'm playing on is a Roland TD-4kp. I'm on XBOX One and use the Madcatz 360 Midi Pro Adapter with the PDP Wired Legacy Adapter to play RB4 with this kit.

reading some of the comments i cant believe how dense some people are not knowing that base game rockband doesnt have 2x bass pedal. rockband has been around since 2008 and people are throwing flak left and right at something us players wish was standard.

Oh, and I got to ask the owner something. Or any professional drummer. Is there like, a tip or trick to doing that rhythm at 0:29? Because it's the 1 part I get stuck on in the song. And no matter what I try and how many times I tried, I just couldn't do it too well.
@@Stack_4_the_underscore_ You're basically playing a consistent rhythm like a drum roll. The technique here for pro drums is your left hand is upbeats on the yellow cymbal, while your right hand does the blue cymbal and red drum on downbeats. Your foot and right hand are synced up, while your left hand plays the gaps in between .

It's significantly easier than the real song. This game doesn't have all the beats that the real song does.
It's just the double bass that's left out since the normal stock kits don't support it

I just have a GH drum that is much better than the original's RB, but still feels awkward cuz I have to hit tom for a ride cymbal you know?
I literally cant get these fast parts down with my pedal. Any tips? I think it could be my technique, I do it too fast to the point of me shaking my feet.
I also have a mesh kickpad, is that better or worse than what you are using? I feel like I tend to double hit more often than id like.

Are the points scored differently on rb4, because I just fced this on rb2 and it was only 210k?
Fills give you extra points on the crash if you set them to look like they do in Beatles rock band & not miss (very helpful on songs like Prayer of the Refugee that one was a bitch to gold star on drums)

Ben Mitchell Those are the foot-pedal lines. When you hit all the white notes you gain energy for overdrive. Overdrive just increases your score multiplier.
You can use rock band 2 songs in rock band 4?
Alfonso Gomez yes you can its and export you had to buy back in the past. you can alos get rb1, rb2,rb3 lego rb, and greenday rb on rb4

Assuming you are talking about Xbox 1 you need both Mad Catz Midi pro adapter and Rock Band Legacy adapter.

Some songs on the Rock Band Network had special double bass versions of the songs, but alas Rock Band Network is not available on Rock Band 4 (which is a damn shame)

Double bass pedal aside - this song is under charted as fuck. 0:37 How did the programmers fail to hear the obvious base pedal hits on the verse sections? lol You don't need a double base pedal to hit the second kick before the snare, and yet they simply didn't chart it even though you can plainly hear it.
This is definitely not expert, if it is the devs of RB4 should be fucking ashamed, you dont even play half of the fills in the verses -_-

The fills in the verses, in this version arent played with double bass, hence why it looks so wrong
