She's a Singer actually she's my Co-Singer in our small town in Gingoog City,we are on a TRIO Sequencer Band.I used to mentor her as I can really see her Potential,but by that time she was not that Confident with her Talent,a little shy,and I still need to Pushed her and give her some songs that fits the Quality of her Voice.But look at her now! As far as I know, those Filipinos that appeared in that show has a Korean husband, that's why they're able to join there and living in Korea. And they can fluently speak Korean. There are actually other Filipinos who joined that show.

Unfortunately she lost against the American representative which I really think the Philippines did really great from the technical side and emotions compared to the American representative.

Koreans are biased when it comes to this kind of shows in korea especially when there's a filipino contestants, they'll never let a filo win on a variety shows, because they knew that filipinos are great singers and not to be boastful we're even compared to their k-Idols, they've just using filos for entertainment and for views. That's how koreans mindset and it's so sad.

Most filipino singers who are good in singing they are constantly singing at home or anywhere and has the passion in singing. Some filipino singers who are abroad are either vocalist in a band before here in the Philippines or is just literally good in singing and improve it on their own.

I don't think she was a celebrity in the musical world in the Philippines. She was probably a singer, in a band. Many unknown singers are very talented sometimes better than well known singers, then get discovered like the main vocalist of Journey, Arnel Pineda, who was a band vocalist in a club in the Philippines. He was discovered on UA-cam when Journey was looking for a vocalist.
BTW, Jennelyn is married to a Korean and found her niche in Korea by joining musical contests.
