He never wanted to go with her in the first place, rather forced to. His mother abandoned then came back with a daughter from someone else after she remarried. She was entitled to think he had any obligation to be with her after, but poor guy was emotionally/physically abused and kept it to himself.
I really feel so bad for him having a evil mother...treating him like crap and using him for her needs and not feeling any guilt at her wrong doings...he needs to stand his ground and stop being weak towards his mother...
