I've seen the EQA at my local Dealership in Germany and had in my mind: "Can't wait for Bjorn to test it." Now I'm really happy! :)
In my opinion, the Burmester sound system is gorgeous, even in the EQA. A pity that the press car doesn't have it...

Also I like the exteriors of these EQ(C,A, S, etc...) lineup, very original and distinguishable from the rest with a futuristic accent without those (IMO) horrible blue or green color accents to indicate that is an EV like some other brands put on their ev cars (BMW use the blue i.e.)

@@Andrei-hl2fx The fact is, here the car is more than in Germany! While we are the neighbor country.. The EQA should be around 35-45k, normal price. But 75k? Hell no. EQC = 75k.
Why would you pay £10k more for this EQA that is less efficient (=less range), less powerful, less equipment, less space, less warranty and less comfort than the E Niro? TB says the id.4/enyaq are cheaper? Not when you’ve added all the options. These are standard in the top E Niro model (driver assistance, stereo, electric seats, seat heaters, heat pump etc etc). And Korean car build quality is equal to or better than some German makes. Frankly it’s worrying to see that the Koreans remain 1 EV generation ahead of Europe. Once the Ioniq 5 and EV6 hit the streets it’s all over.

This and the Mustang Mach e are my favs. Both seem pretty efficient. Really missing a range test with the rwd Mustang with the standard range battery

Also remember that when you buy a EV Mercedes you will get the Mercedes ME- RFDI, which lets you charge at almost any station! No more fiddle with 5+ different cards...

Interesting as always. WHY do you chose to drive at 93km/h and not e.g. at 80km/h for the "slow" and 120 km/h for the "fast" test? This, as around 80 km/h is for most cars the most efficient speed for long-term journeys.
The most efficient speed for EVs is around 40 km/h...

Mercedes just cancelled the plans for selling the EQC in the US, because they have no chance whatsoever against Tesla. Same with BMW iX3.
iX3 was cancelled for the US, because BMW dealers felt, that RWD only and assembly in China would undermine BMWs premium status there. i4 and iX of course will go to the US.

I took delivery of my new EQA 250 AMG Line last week. Love the car, BUT and a very BIG BUT, as it's a major fail from Mercedes. One cannot schedule a charge from within the settings in the car, or via the Mercedes ME app. This is a basic function that most other (Cheaper) EVs can perform. However, this basic function is not available on the premium car, with a premium price tag. If you have an electricity tariff like Octopus go, you cannot time a charge to take advantage of electricity at 5p per Kwh between 00:30 and 04:30. Unacceptable in my book. Come on Mercedes, get it sorted. It's only a software tweak that can be done over the air.

This thing is way worse than the competition, not even a true EV platform with the benefits of EV on the interior. Then Fwd, seriously? Worse range too. Whatever the designers of this took had to be something crazy.
Kia EV6, ioniq 5, ID4, ford mustang, Tesla model 3. All of them, way better than EQA at such price.
id4? maybe...the rest, yes... But again, for the similar price, you`re buying the brand - Mercedes, although their "cheaper" cars are not great against competitors....
I’ve tried them all and the merceders beats them all in premiumfeel and quality. Its not all numbers and specs...
@@MRDudie Maybe Mercedes like EQC, I highly doubt something like EQA. Its a known fact that lower tier Mercedes are no where near their flagship models. Hence, this EQA is even noisier then Tesla...
@@DG-uv3zw Try it your self. My opinion is that the EQA has much more premiumfeel than KIA, Skoda and VW. Its also very silent, i dont know how it compare to Tesla.
@@MRDudie Bjorn measured 71db at 120km/h. His EQA was very noisy compared to other EVs... Its actually significantly noisier then ID family...EQC is a masterclass of silence
