    Zimbabwean legacy in Zambia
    1) One of the late Zambian Presidents, Rupiya Banda was actually a Zimbabwean born and bred in Hwange.
    2) Guy Scott, one time deputy President of Zambia was farmer in Zimbabwe
    3) Mandebvu township is actually named after the bearded mapositori from Johanne Masowe from Zimbabwe who settled in this township.
    4) Mazoe orange juices originated from Zimbabwe
    5) Zambia used to be part of Rhodesia

Ummm, sorry to bust your bubble my friend, Guy Scott was not a farmer in Zim lol. That man has been in Zed including his parents who owned a newspaper. Mandevu is named after the ZeZeru who stay there, its bacause of their beards that why the area is Mandevu Township!

Lots of young people and a lot of happy visitors (Not foreigners but visitors). Great for live jazz music over a good conversation with new friends. Also checkout Chaminuka, about 15kms from Lusaka. This place is good for a short safari drive, spending the whole day there is more than enough.

@@pinkCulture. Nah! Definitely Zim has slid back. In the 90s and 2000s Zimbabweans spoke a lot of English. I think right now, it's almost like Zimbabweans shun English. I've noticed especially in matshonaland they hardly speak English, even in Harare. When I visited Zambia everyone was speaking English but perhaps that had to do with the places I went to and the company I had. So you may be right.
South Africans on the other hand, yoh! They are like batswana, they look at yoh funny if you speak to them in English. Even at the supermarket the till lady gave me attitude, lol. But they are super friendly and very vibey.

Even black Zimbabweans in the 80s and 90s had a distinctive, very British like flair in their pronunciations just like Mugabe that doesn't exist anymore. If you listen to old Zimbabwean TV shows and news programs you'll hear it. Now it's a very obvious shona English accent that most have. For example let's say your kids are talking bad about your neighbors do you record them and spread the recording? Think before you act. Ask yourself questions before you upload.
