Not gonna lie, when I heard they were teaming up, I was kinda hoping Grymm's trumpet/wind instrument work would make it's way into the song, I feel like that's one of his trademarks and it's the bit of his songs I like most. This definitely had Gideon's synth-esque sound to it, which I can appreciate is really good, but at the same time is not really my style. Btw, if in the small chance you read this Gideon, don't change. True, I may not like your synth style, but at least 50k, if not 100k other people do like it, and you are good at it.
My initial reaction to the song was that it wasn't my style which is fine, I don't expect everything to be my exact tastes. However, for quite a lot of songs, I need to listen to them a number of times before I start really liking them, and the more I've listened to this one, the more I'm enjoying it, and I'm glad about that.

I’m a little disappointed the second verse repeated near exact words of the chorus. It felt throw away. Otherwise, good lyrics, great singing, and well done composition
You really cant trust content creators to give actual honest critique on any fan made stuff. This song just simply sits in the middle, its not horrible but there's nothing in the lyrics or sound beats to make the song stand out, to make me want to add it to my music list, to inspire any thought or hope or wishes of or for the characters that the content creators play.
