The opening track after the intro didn't grab me much for some reason, but I kept listening and this album *really* grew on me as it went on. The Well of Deception's hauntingly beautiful melody alone has me itching to give it another listen already, but there's plenty to admire here besides. The fluctuations of different styles heard throughout metal history keeps it interesting to listen to throughout while still keeping a coherent atmosphere and tone. Fantastic work! This is a huge achievement to be proud of.
Additional notes: • My favourite track is Pit of Oblivion. The heightened atmosphere, the ferocious drumming, the grim guitarwork, the anguished screaming ; it all feels like a more powerful, more enrapturing version of Bathory's Call From the Grave. (Of course, the vocal layering effect shared with that song lends to such comparison.) • In a time when A.I. metal "music" is rampant, this fabulous masterwork is produced. True metal isn't dead, it's gone underground - where, perhaps, it belongs.
@@Neon-Covenanter Thank you so much for your feedback! We really appreciate it. We are glad to hear it feels very unique to you, as that was exactly the intention with this new record. Hails!
Once again, we had no idea who Desaster were before we started promoting the album. We still have never heard one single song from them. This painting is public domain and it was one of the main sources of inspiration for the album, we had zero clue it had been used before. It fits the sound, theme and atmosphere of the album, and that's that. Bad luck someone else had used it too.

Thank you so much for your great comment, this means a lot to us! \m/
Very Good!!!
I was afraid I wouldn't live to see the new album. This is my medicine.
Cheers from Ukraine and thank you, Erymanthon🤘😢
@@nocturnal_doomer I am sorry for this, mate. I hope my music can give you strength, somehow. Take care and stay strong.

I haven't had enough time to listen to the album 100 times yet, but I already like it a lot.
Definitely the album of the week/month
Amazing compliment, thank you so much! \m/
Horror, hopelessness, and heaviness in full measure. A beautifully varied epic united in tone and theme ; I've never heard anything quite like it.

Excellent..!
Lo mejor de lo mejor apocalipse 🤘😵💫🤟🎤🥁
Best chorus guitars of the year.
Muy bueno, che!. Saludos desde Buenos Aires.
This is the fifth band used the same artwork for their album if I could recall... The most recent was Desaster's The Oath of an Iron Ritual....
If that's the case, this is a pretty lazy album cover... Generic font too... The genre is suffering a bit from lazy art.
@Lord_Sneetus yeahhh... True and it's abit annoying lol

@@apocalypseofficial6567of course... If you guys have extra money, just dont hesitate to get artwork from metal painters or graphic artists...

виски этим ребятам за оригинальность! Апокалипс, такого же раньше ну ни у кого не было!))
Shiiiiit... who has the time to listen to a 3min intro?
It makes the rip-roaring thrash-fest to come that much sweeter.
And, anyhow, who has the time to listen to your whining?
@@Neon-Covenanter ah yes, thanks for the reminder... they do it for the emo kids and their love for shitty music.
If Dante is to be believed, Ulysses has all the time in the world, and then some. Gimme all the organ intros.
