Not bad #’s. My 2000 bone stock motor with a p1sc 9psi 405hp/385tq. Went 11.70 in the 1/4 and has been holding together for 3 years now.
I’m going to always root for the 2v new edges!
WHOOOO! 2V content!
My 03 GT bone stock motor with only midpipe and catback made 367/387 on 8psi intercooled blow-through style with a Vortech V3 si.
Ran that setup for 5yrs until I finally built the motor and now make 573 to the tire.
My fav is a torquetech kit
Awesome job Andrew, awesome 01 Bullitt, that is a killer set up for the street, love that factory blue on these
cars.
I like the 2v content
And a spoiler on a bullitt!! Yucky
Agreed they should be spoilerless. I’ll except a drag wing if it’s fast lol
Agreed!
Those are some impressive numbers for a bone stock 2V...
This is the content I want to see 👍
Who the heck installed a sunroof into that poor car??
First thing I noticed 😂
That's tuff wym?
I noticed that and the spoiler 🙃
Hahah I almost had one installed in my 02 I don’t thought it would be different 😂
Some dealers were doing that back in the day, horrible
Love this, I have a 01 Bullitt with 37k miles and can't wait to build it. Only problem is money😂.
My stock longblock with cams and a Vortech v3 at 11psi does 421whp at 386wtq. Lotta fun.
We need some Mexico activity with some racing!
Awesome great job seeing a 2v
Once again another one 🔥 vid!!!!!!!!
Assuming that car has a stock h pipe, where did the wideband get installed? I need to figure this out for my own procharged 03 gt.
Take a downstream O2 sensor out and put your wide band sensor in
@MrModel20 the two cats don't effect the readings? Not having that downstream o2 doesn't effect fuel trims?
@ leave the upstreams in but you can swap out the down streams without issue
Great video, makes me want to build my crown Vic like that.
Custom cams, long tube headers, custom torque converter, supercharger
Bullits dont have spoilers
Correct they didn't come with spoilers. Someone added one to this car.
It looks like a twin to my Bullitt. I installed the Tork Tech kit with a 03-04 Cobra blower. It will be getting tuned this spring when the good weather returns. How many miles on that one?
Right around 100k
@@MustangLifestyleTV shhhh i still got life left just hit 105, but there is a 55k mile 2v near me i wanna go get
V1 si 11 lbs sbe. Made 432/403 tuned in central FL at Ramseys.
somebody needs to get a f150 21-24 block and see if gen 1 or 2 heads fit , that block is beefy like a 5.2
I had a 1998 get with a vortec 11lbs of booste no intercooler, headers, this was back in 2000 I beat on that car for 30,000 miles til I sold it never broke it made 304whp no intercooler 373 gears
Where do you mount the wideband sensor?
In the mid pipe
I have a 2v with 7psi making around 330whp with a 3.4 pulley intercooled, just wondering what to pulley down to either a 3 or 3.1? To get around 11 pounds of boost and hopefully make 400whp.
Generally .1” is 1 psi
@@MustangLifestyleTV So just shoot for the 3inch pulley and send it.
bad ass
When I was like 19 I bought a brand new 2002 Mustang GT with the 4.6 2V and the 5 speed manual, and I would've loved to have had this option. The 2V wasn't a horrible engine, but it lacked that punch that you expect. If I had a Procharger option back then (yeah, the Vortech was available, but I got rid of the car earlier than I expected and bought a 2005 GTO).
Procharger blowers were available as well as vortech and I think Paxton too there was also positive displacement blower options.
Same boat. Started messing with LS and LT cars and didnt look back. Not hating, but such low numbers with boost. I love all cars but bang for the buck isnt there. Cam longtube LS will crush these numbers for a fraction 🤑
@@anthonybomicino3276 Until the coyote came out.
How do we contact you for remote tunning?
send me an email andrew at mustanglifestyle.net
@MustangLifestyleTV ok awesome, I have a 3v 4.6 out of a 2010 saleen I'm swapping into my 2003 mustang, I'll definitely need some tunning
All Bullitts should be green
Apparently ford didn’t agree lol
Naaah, Henry said it best😂🤟
Nice numbers but the D1SC is really too big of a blower for this car and spinning it this slow its going to sacrifice bottom end.
👍👍👍

You don’t need a MS3 for a stock GT with a blower. People have been tuning with SCT on 2 valve cars for years. Absolutely overkill and a waste of money.
As stated in video the sct can get you by. But just because it’s been done for 20 years doesn’t mean it’s great. MS3 is a better platform. The car drives smoother, tunes easier, and delivers a better end product. It costs more but it is better end of story. It doesn’t fit everyone’s budget.
@@MustangLifestyleTV a stock GT with a blower doesn't need a standalone. That's all I am saying. I have had many cars tuned with SCT over the years and recently. I agree the SCT software is clunky and it can be hard to find PIDs in those menus!
@@stephensnyder1055 It may not NEED a standalone but MS3 does provide a good platform to tune from and it even has provisioning for pinning in a flex fuel sensor as well as an electronic boost controller. I've thought about going that route myself but unless I can get a really good deal on one, I would probably rather put that money towards a Holley for a bit more since I can get a good deal on them.
@ brother, we have been tuning stock 2 valve cars on SCT with absolutely no issues. I had a 02 GT with custom ground cams and ported head in 05… the car was tuned by Jake Lamotta on SCT and after a few hours it ran nearly perfect. I’m not saying a SCT piggy back is the solution… for all. I’m saying for the normal guy… a SCT OR HP tuner is fine as well.
Also you’re not going to use a electronic boost controller on a centrifugal blower.. it’s pulley driven… look guys, a frigen SCT tune is fine for a bolt on GT or even cobra.. my 04 cobra with a ported steg stage 7 on E85 did 570… SCT tune…I will agree the SCT software is annoying… 100000000 percent. Tracking down some of the PIDS like traction control.. lol.. it’s annoying.
Bullets are so “overrated”. A whopping 5whp over the GT lol 😝
Maybe on the hp side of things. But for a car to build it has some really cool parts. The intake manifold performs much better with boost(also looks better) and all the appearance differences make it a cleaner car
