Thats come a long way from what you started with 💪🏼
Sick project man. Those bikes are so nice. Literally only seen one in person and it was destroyed
There was someone in my area who was selling an EZ cub, I think it was a 50 though. Crazy that Honda didn't follow through with a street legal version. I like seeing the unique quirks of the EZ,, also your whole process tor troubleshooting electrical (great work on the harness, BTW). I wish you showed more in the oiling system, more specifically your process for bleeding everything. Doing it on my SB50 build was a pain; followed the service manual for bleeding it, still had air in the pump, so I removed the pump, put some oil in it, there was still dirty old oil in the pump under that rubber membrane in there It was a messy process, chucked the shaft into a drill to turn it a bit and get things flowing. was a major pain in the ass, and I wasted like, half a bottle of Klotz, but I eventually got everything working again. Also, what solution/detergent do you use to clean out your oil tanks? I washed mine out with dawn dish soap and water, rinsed, drained and left to dry for a day, then I swished some isopropyl alcohol for a few seconds and drained it and let it evaporate off to remove any trace of moisture. Maybe a bit overkill, but it worked. This is a great project and can't wait to see where it goes! Great video!
That looks like it's going to be fast stock the way you reved it and the way it jumped forward can tell it's going to be a little beast big bore kit incoming can't wait to see more Iv this build
Good job checking all problems..all u rookie mop boys take notes...trever the man. Good job. Old man mop😅
yessir thanks man!
Those original tires are super rare don't throw them out after you take them off!

Bro you do awesome work, I can't wait to see it with the refurbished plastics....gonna be so cool 💯

Always wanted one so badly
dedication ❤🤍💯
I had a 1988 Honda NX250 with a CDI issue and the cdi looks identical. some solder joint under all the epoxy eventually breaks loose. Mine was intermittent and almost left me stranded several times before I figured it out.
Very little aftermarket support made it almost impossible to find a replacement and all the chinese ones had bad ignition advance tables and would blow the motor. Had to find some boutique motorsports electronics company to sell me one. PITA but ran great after that
Nice job Sir! Troubleshooting electrical is never fun.
I be waiting for the MOP to drop 😊
Were these ever sold in europe?
u should get an ultrasonic cleaner. it will change your life it'll make carbs look brand new and clean them
new to ur channel me and my friend wanna get mopeds i currently ride a motorized bike
Man you gotta get around the UA-cam censors shit and get the ferry to ferry up here .
Dude I got a ultrasonic cleaner to do small parts like the carbs.. Works well on anything you put in there... Congrats on getting it running.
i need to get one, thanks bro !
@@MOPBOYZ I put a manky carb in one on one of my vids and it comes up like brand new. Just use fuel for carb cleaning.
When you install the belt how's the belt suppose to be on the clutch on top or bottom
What’d you use to clean the frame up with that little foam degreaser what’s it called and what’d you mostly use to clean the bike frame looks absolutely amazing trying to restore a dio 2????
mcquires plastic polish and oreillys foaming degreaser
That's a gem that one trev
so stoked!
ive been wondering when this was gonan come out
guitar strings for cleaning jets is actually kinda genius, respect for giving me that hack
works so good! haha
@@MOPBOYZ can confirm
if you need tuning part
cdi, reed valve, intake manifold, exhaust system i have got all.
awesome!
Nice work! They can be frustrating to trouble shoot.
great job dude that the sound of motorbike is awesome
thanks man it’s sick !
Can you help me the carburator
This is similar to what happened to me. I bought a 1980 Suzuki gs850 and the previous owner did an ignition switch bypass because he thought the ignition was broken and he couldn’t figure out how to fix it. When I brought the bike home I looked into it and it turns out he had a fuse in the wrong spot which was leaving the battery on and bypassing the ignition. He added a kill switch because he couldn’t put a fuse in the right spot lol
There was one of these on fb for an hour. Was in mint condition and dude was only asking 400
wow that’s crazy cheap
❤
Bringing back memories of me cleaning the hell out of all my new (used) bikes 😂. Deep cleaning that'll last years and years
Yes sir

Damn, you do great work man
thank you man!
Love That little thing. Its special 🥰
When you were tapping the float it was obvious the height was wrong. They generally sit about level when the float height is correctly adjusted. Good job getting her going
yea i didn’t notice until i edited the vid i should’ve seen it before slapping it together hahaha
@@MOPBOYZ I've definitely missed simple stuff before, and I'm sure it's even easier to do when you're trying to narrate a video. But the whole vid after you showed the float I was like, "Bro, don't put it all together, it's not gonna start" , wishing it was a live stream so I could say something haha
This is good info. I just got one of these bikes and working on the carb and after watching this it had me wondering if my float should be set like his. Thank you.
Also just got to the point where he mentioned it.
EZ looking clean now 🔥🔥🔥
supa fye
Seems like it wasn't that EZ to fix
lmao
