Thats just a finish most pliers the black finish fades away even with knipex the blades are still good

01elier Nah, you can definitely see the metal is smushed there. Plus, these pliers are chrome plated and it would take much more for the chrome finish to wear, and it would be a different tone underneath, whereas in this video the smushed metal has lost no color.
