At the 12 minute mark you showed the trike and the similar 2 wheel, the front wheels need to be switched lol I’m sure it’s gone by now. Just noticed if spoke wheel was painted white it would be perfect and that mag matches the other.. anyways haha gonna finish watching 👍🏼
Love seeing all this tomos stuff love APNs had one built it up and sold it...doub doub doub move always looking for APNs new old frames hole bikes I don't care I want another one
Really good and instructive video. You are a real Tomos enthusiast, so I reward you with the title of honorary resident of Slovenia.
Where can I find specifications on these bikes? Like engine torque specs, clutch engagement rpm specs, etc
Where is the vin located on a Tomos? I do not know the name of the model but, mine has more of a motorcycle design or look. Sort of like the gold 15 but, mine is white with black & chrome. Mine has the same gas tank & seat but, only a single cylinder! Rather then the V shape that some have. I purchased mine at a roadside sale & took it home & only noticed later that, I do not see a vin code anywhere. Where is the vin code located?
VIN will be located on the headset, by the forks. Unfortunately on older bikes, the VIN is printed on a sticker. Often the sticker is warn away and the numbers are gone. Some models had a second sticker on the side of the frame, under the seat.
Does anyone have any ideas why a 2007 tomos streetmate would only be getting 20 miles per gallon? Have a chance to buy one but that mileage is atrocious and tells me there must be something wrong
Are there any videos or forums out there on how to install a top mount gas tank on a Tomos? I haven't found any tutorials or documentation on how to do the install or what parts I'd need.
A TOMOS LX tank will mount on a Sprint easily. There is a bracket sold on Treatland that can help you with the conversion.
@@MopedProblems Thanks for the help. I'm new to the channel. Do you guys still have a location out in NY or are you in Florida for good?
Thanks for watching! 100% located in FL now. We mail out most of our business now, whether it’s parts or whole mopeds... we can ship anything.
So, maybe mine is a LX Tomos? Mine looks similar to the rare 175 as far as the gas tank & the seat but, mine IS NOT A twin cylinder & has a traditional frame.
Feel free to send me a picture of your moped to my email and I can confirm for you. Mopedproblems@gmail.com
Hey man, send me photos of the pages in Slovenian and I'll translate them for ya. Btw, the subtitle of the booklet says "A moped that doesn't let you down." :)
Ah that would be amazing. Its a lot of words! Whats your email? I’ll scan the pages. I will read it out loud in a future live chat.
@@MopedProblems don't worry, just snap'em and I'll see what I can do. :) Email inbound!
Hi great job! Could you explain in a video maybe how are Tomos compared with other mopeds. In what are they great, in what bad, are they reliable. So in summary what makes them interesting. You that have seen a lot of mopeds must have an expert opinion :)
Not a bad idea. We do have a video that compares TOMOS with a bye bike. And we have a drag race comparison video, TOMOS vs every other bike in the shop. Take a look within our videos... about 2 years ago.
I had other mopeds before Tomos I had Batavus, Puch, Motobecane, Peugeot and others. I always heard bad things about Tomos, then I bought one and it was bulletproof and much quicker 40 mph 2 speed oil injection and parts availability.
kolibri means humming bird
Dude can I buy a bike?

Good work... I'm also Tomos fan and i'm from Slovenia.
