- Hello - my name is Surina Taneja and I am a junior doctor in the UK. Here is everything I have learnt so far about how to build your portfolio with some simple and practical steps I believe anyone can apply.
Recording this video finally made me get my own portfolio in order - bonus tip for those who are reading this: record everything you do and file all relevant documents (certificates, letters etc) as you go along!! Don't leave till when you need it...
But most importantly: remember there is more to life than portfolios

Surina your videos are just excellent; I don't know why you don't have many multiples of your current subscriber count, especially looking at other "medic" accounts. You really knock them out of the park, I'm sure a huge amount of work goes into them. Just a comment to say don't be afraid to increase your volume; you speak too quietly! I'm sure you're a brilliant teacher to students/juniors but you need to project!!

Hi, just a quick question- from what I gather the essay prizes are worth nothing without a publication or presentation, yet very few actually offer that?
They are worth as much as the publications/presentations :)
