I love the LoTR and Hobbit movies, they fundamentally changed my life. Seeing Tolkien's work on screen got me into reading the books, Anglo-Saxon history, linguistics and my own history. I think Jackson did a marvelous job producing the movies. Tolkien was touched by God, I'm sure of it. Sometimes the LoTR feels even realer than life itself.
