While away the hours browsing boutique shops and craft galleries, and stop for a pick-me-up of fine local food and wine at a café or restaurant overlooking the shimmering waters of Akaroa Harbour. Incredible scenery! You showed everything off so well. I think about 10 years ago we were lucky enough to spend a birthday on the Banks Peninsula. This really makes us want to return. Great tunes also! 😀

You had a fun group and an amazing RV to travel in. Such a beautiful area, I think my favorite shots were the sunrise ones though.

The RV is pretty sweet! LOL at the bathroom scene. Cool to find hidden falls. I like the time lapse (?) effect at 2:58....how did you do that? I wanna swim with dolphins too!! Great editing as usual, Ryan!!
Hey mate! Yep its just a regular timelapse, but each photo is a long exposure to create motion blur. I think I was doing 1 second exposures. Thanks for watching bro! 🍻

Great video man! The whole time you were at that sunrise on the beach I was like GET. THE. DRONE. OUT 😬. I can't get over how beautiful New Zealand is. This is exactly what I want to see in the travel videos I watch here on UA-cam :) keep it up. I just locked in a little campervan trip myself - going to be doing a similar thing showing off the local area I live in which I feel is really underrated! Your RV was an absolute beast though 😂 could literally live in that full-time
Thanks Josh! Haha its so hard juggling 2 cameras and a drone and figuring out which one to shoot with when you want to shoot with all three! Thankfully I got it up to get that one shot just before the sun went behind the cloud lol. The van was so sick! Apparently it can sleep 6 adults haha
Haha I know your pain. The drone shot was sick though :) and really? That's so good like especially if all six people chipped in for costs - could make it a decent option for road trippers. Looking forward to more like this

The must have been so amazing to be swimming with the dolphins. We did it once in Hawaii, but our encounter wasn't a close as yours. And that was an epic sunrise!
did you have any trouble taking the campervan up lighthouse road to the akaroa heads? (did you go there? not sure, can't tell from the video) that's a 4wd road, I was afraid to take my SUV up there (2wd)
That first timelapse of the cliffs and stars was taken out at Akaroa Head. But nah we didn't take the van out there mate. Got a local mate to come mission with us!
looked like a fun trip with your new bros, started off a little "stinky" lol but it was great getting to see NZ have always wanted to go there and meet some Hobbits... Someday soon
