+Jennie Mallanao I wondered about this too - according to her Twitter she'd had an operation on it following an injury, but didn't go into the details. Possibly coincidentally she wrote about an abusive ex who pulled her around by her wrists, so I wondered if that was the cause, like maybe she'd had some long-term damage that needed fixing or something.
