One tip, when selling immediately to a buy order and the quantity is marked red, because you want to sell more than is bought, then you can just hit sell and don't need to adjust it.
It will just sell as much as it can and then you can repeat the process with the rest.
Inventory Filters. My mind is so blown right now about how awesome this game is.

Started in 2007 and just learned about them as well.
I have been playing since 03 as well, and while I was aware of them, I never thought to use filters like this.
I honestly thought I was stuck with the basic starter filters. This is pretty neat.

I just came back after 10 years and reactivated my old three accounts (one of 2005, of of 2010, and one of 2013). Two of those have three characters each, and the newest one was empty (I used it now to create a new char and am doing the newbie training now to get reacquainted). Over those 6 chars on the old accounts, I have more than 10,000 items across a dozen stations all over high and low sec, among them around 50 or so partly very large ships. If I'm looking for something, I probably have it - or I have the BPO or at least a BPC and all of the skills and most of the materials to produce it. Aprox. 80% of that is in containers, the rest are items lying around in station hangars.
The challenge for me now is, to consolidate all this. I want to have all of this in my high sec home station, what does mean a lot of slow travelling lots of jumps with one of my freighters. I too will then discard all the containers and in future will use hangar filters to sort through the stuff.
And then the real work will come: to decide what to keep, what to sell and what to reprocess. If there is an idea around how to support this decision making, I'd like to know.

You are a fantastic explainer. You even make boring stuff interesting.
Eve desperately needs a "Pick List" feature that allows you to grab a list of items at specific quantities from a container. Similar to Multi-buy, but for pulling a list of stuff from a central stockpile.
It probably enables easy botting of PI, though maybe PI is already heavily botted and it's a non issue. Either way I'm curious why they don't have that feature because it seems like a reasonable request :)

Regarding station containers, you can also buy them from some overcharging individual who found there where none in the station and decided to put a 100%+ markup on them, cough cough, not me, I would never do that ;)

Regarding containers - worth mentioning is that assembled containers can't hold packaged containers.
As such, be mindful when planning on picking up packaged containers with a hauler that's already filled with assembled containers (that's how I have mine set up). It's an easy thing to forget and can lead to inefficient logistics.

oh btw, the market bookmark works with drag and drocp, you just have to grab the thing by the icon .. then drag and drop works almost everywhere (exept planetary, nothing works there) :P
It's probably too late since this is an "old" video, buy you have "Link in description" (19:46) for that J eve assets thing, but I'm not seeing any links in the description. Same for fittings in other videos that you say will be in the descriptions. Otherwise good content though. Been consuming a lot of content to figure out what tools are good, etc and the links would be appreciated.

Food for thought... should there be inventory limits on the Item Hangar? It doesn't fit within the realism of the game. And I could argue it isn't healthy for the economy of the game - but thats probably a discussion for another time.
Having limited shelf space isn't realistic?
If it were realistic you'd have to pay for warehouse space.

How about an item I bought but I set a destination, undock goto AutoPPoilt, yeah I know a big no no, but it actually leads me to item I have bought I know it is in system but I still can't find it.

I have not Heard anything about "Slots" which limit the number of separate items.
There is 1000 item limit in any one place.

Hey Ashterothi i'm coming up on both my main chars to 5mil sp limit and thinking of making a hauling/trading alt for them for the third toon. I'm thinking once all my characters are at the 5mil sp limit buying omega and a multi training cert and getting all them to the 20 mill sp limit for alphas and just playing the game once that is done. My question is how long would that take for the 3 characters getting to 20 mill sp?

You're item hanger 100% has a limit of items you can put in it - I think it's around 1000 different items or so , and it will say there is no more shelf room - I hunt Haulers in Thera and gotta lotta junk in Paleocybernetics Lab to have seen that dreaded msg many times

I just popped in here to say the same thing, I didnt hit the limit but a friend of mine, who was a packrat, ran into the limit with all his manufacturing materials.

Describing the value of things as "m..3" is a little weird and there is some kind of word for it, so for the sake of the metric audience it might be a bit more diserable to say "cubes" or "cubic meters"! An example is when a person refers to 2 squared for example "2²" you cant just refer to it as "two-two".... See where im going with this. Just trying to be helpful and not negative. Love your content and would only want the best for you! *peace*

growing wealth: do more abyssals
managing wealth: lose less abyssals
there really isn't much that can compare with abyssals until you get to the point you are flying multibillion isk capital ships, then you can go do something like sotiyos. abyssal moneymaking is mostly unbeatable until deep late game though, you can easily make over 1 billion/hour by boxing 3 frigates in t6 abyssals, you pay for all 3 of those accounts' omegas in one single day of abyssals and everything else is pure profit. even fresh day 1 characters will make more money doing t0 abyssals than trying to do something like sanshas nullsec relic sites, missions, gas huffing, etc.
