@@StephanieG3T yeah I was thinking the Same thing that's why they been drafting and trading and more active in free agency I feel like they trying to get Pete at least one more before he go
This really shows why players love to play for Pete. He's having fun, looking after his young guys, lifting them up and giving them opportunities. It's no coincidence so many players come back.
Nothing epitomizes Pete better than the Deejay exchange. These guys would do anything with the proper empowerment/encouragement. He is my favorite coach of my lifetime in terms of embodying all the finer aspects of being a coach and leader.
I'm calling it now, Pete Carroll is going to be that coach that us Hawks will take for granted. But once Pete retires from coaching, we're soon going to realize how much we miss him.
If he wasn't like this year in and year out, so consistently, you'd think he's faking. But he's not. What an example of someone really *living* a life.
At 72 he might as well be 32. You're not gonna find a more animated HC who is so in tune with his players. Yet he _still_ doesn't get much respect from the media coz he's a rah-rah type. They don't see what goes on at Virginia Mason between Monday and Sunday. People will be replicating his leadership style at some point, because you can't argue with the success he's had both in college and the NFL. Out of 13 seasons, he's had 3 losing seasons, none of which were less than 7 games; perennial playoff contenders; 2 Super Bowls, won one. Hard to argue with that resume.
Pete is something else. Don't tell anybody he is the oldest coach in the league. Aside from his wrinkles and white hair his energy and passion is unmatched by any 30 year old. We love you Pete!
This is exactly why Alot of players end up coming back to Seattle. It starts with Pete Carroll. It's going to be a sad day when he is no longer the coach.
72 y/o, he might as well be 32. His enthusiasm for the game, coaching, his players, is infectious; and every player who's played under him keeps coming back, because of the culture he built and nurtured the past 13 years.
We as a fanbase are so blessed to still have Pete and I feel like many take his presence for granted. Go Hawks!
Yep. Not only take for granted, but people who rip Pete and John don’t have a clue how lucky they are.
@@cv488 precisely.
U weren’t sayin dat when he should’ve ran
Pete is never retiring! His passion is still as strong as when he started coaching
Not I I’ve been a USC and Seahawk
We are so lucky to have Pete. I will absolutely shed tears the day he retires.
Well get ready sadly it will be soon
Tears of joy maybe.
@@jaystunnak7540 my guess is after his contract. I think through 2025.
He's going to retire after the 2032 season at the age of 80. He'll be up there with Shula, Landry, and Belichick by then.

Pete: "don't overtry from this point on"
Deejay: 😉
Beautiful!! 😻
“I read all your books” my new favorite crap talking line in football
Pete actually writes books on competition though. The guy was serious.
Definitely wasn't crap talking 😅
Pete’s “compete forever” book changed my life. There’s a reason why hundreds of alpha males hold him in such a high regard
Pete for president. He is an idol of mine
And this is for all you (go Hawks) people. Pay attention to Pete Carroll it's SEA!!!HAWKS!!!
The best part of the video 6:50 no doubt
Pete with that energy 👏
This man is ageless. Love it.
It will be hard to replace a great coach like him! 😢
Go Hawks BoBo is so amazing!!!!!!!👍🏻👍🏻😃💙💚

"That man [Pete] is the GOAT" - KJ

💚💙🫶🏼 Coach #Pete!! 👏👏👏 HOF!!
WHO-HOO!! Go COACH!!
Hi, family!🥰
Pete is the goat
Russ made me think that pete was the problem...i know see that neither were the problem, but keeping pete over russ was 100% the correct move
I actually wanted Pete to leave after they trade Russ, but then I am happy to have Pete stay
I've never liked a coach more than Pete. I can't imagine the Hawks without em and I wouldn't want too
How can you not like this guy? That’s coming from a UCLA and Rams fan
Also more Bobo please…
the ric flair of the nfl wooooo
Best of coach Seahawks,nfl
These are the things I’m gonna miss from
Pete is more fun to watch than the game!
Gonna be a sad day once this man retires. HOF coach through and through.
I would get a Pete Carrol jersey if I could man, that would be sick
Need daren bates micd up #rawroom

Was Ted Lasso based on Pete Carroll?
Pete say 32😂 he looks at Pete, 32 thinking " I wish I was their side"
How old is he ? 70, he still move like he 60 but his energy and screaming is like 7 years old.
72 y/o, he might as well be 32. His enthusiasm for the game, coaching, his players, is infectious; and every player who's played under him keeps coming back, because of the culture he built and nurtured the past 13 years.
I will miss pete Carrol when he retires he is the best🎉
72 years old. I'm tired just watching.
Nice ref
2:45 Raible never made a catch like that lmao
he thought it was impossible hahaha
way to ruin the call Steve
Hall of fame. First vote or it's a crime.
Pete is better than bilichick. Bilichick is nothing without Brady while Carroll continues to win
AND WHY IS HE NOT THE BEST COACH?..….Record A+
Culture A+
Drafting A+
Super Bowl
NCAA ×2
