I'm glad that handle worked out for you. On another note, when you're using a ferocerium rod, keep the striker still and draw the rod closer to yourself. You can get down closer without disturbing your kinlin as much.
Nice camp spot and let me tell ya a top water frog in all that grass in front of the camp site I’m sure there are some decent fish in there But awesome content Overland Florida
You can estimate how long it lasts by dividing wattage being used into the amount of watt/hours available. If it's pulling 1500 watts, it'll last almost an hour if there are 1400 watt/hours in the battery. 700 watts would last two hours, 2800 watts would last 30 minutes
Truck looks great you came a long way with it. Like it cool . Jillian ride nice also, Goose is a cool name we would like to know what made her choose that name? See you guys on the next 👍😎
@6:17, you really have never used fire plugs or fero rods before? The outside of the plugs are waterproof, and won’t catch. Break them open and fluff a little. See the straight edge of the striker on the fero rod. I made it to 6:58. Read the very brief instructions to n the fire plug bag. Seriously 🤷♂️
Nice looking place to camp. We are located in California and are considering moving to Florida. We have been to Florida many times and love it. Just subscribed to your channel, thanks for putting great content.

It's perfect. Thanks for the tip on the ferocerium rod. I'll definitely have to try that next time.
@@OverlandFlorida just an FYI if you break the bigfoot bushcraft plug and get to the fibers the ferrocenium rod will light it. 👍

I'll have to bring some poles next time!
Saw a gorgeous pic of the sunset there--did you take it? Impressed with your channel--I can say 'I knew you when' lol
Yes, I took the picture. It’s a very nice price if property. Thank you!

Thanks, we both to have pretty nice vehicles. Goose got his name from the movie "Top Gun"
My dog is just like yours. If I had a hundred foot leash he wants to a hundred an one feet away! Another cool video.
Hopefully soon he can be off leash. But when he starts tracking, he doesn't pay attention to commands or his surroundings.
Hi...beautiful location, can you give more info as to where its at, is it open to everyone or private? I couldn't locate on Google maps...thanks!
It's called McKinnon Groves.
Hi Kevin !
Is open to everyone?.
@@juankkkka yes. It's private property, but anyone can book a site there.
I thought those little fire plugs should be broken in half and "fluffed" up a bit, unless these are not the same kind
I'll have to try that. That's a good idea, thank you.
Was going to mention that myself
This is the best time for camping in the south, cool temps, few if any mosquitoes.
There wasn't a single mosquito at all. It was very nice.
Actually decent FL camping weather and looked like a nice location.
We definitely had the best of both worlds.

Thanks for the tip. Congratulations on making so far in the video.
@@OverlandFlorida I made it farther 👍
wow!....awesome I hope this area will remain wild and not be sold to developers the urban sprawl in Florida right now is horrific!
I'm sure a majority has been sold. But the remaining few hundred acres are beautiful.
👍👍
Thanks, Shawn.

You're welcome and I'm glad you enjoy them!
Is this a campground open to the public to make reservations?
Yes
