Day 2 of our holiday - Isle of Wight

Staying in a Cranmore Lodge (for 8 people) at Woodside Bay Lodge Retreat.
Today, I gave a little run down on the issues we experienced on our first night. That said, I really like this place and would definitely return. Issues are minor and do not spoil anything.
We visited The Needles this morning. It was a shame that everything is closed. Being out of season, most things are closed and will open in April. It was musty and atmospheric at The Needles. We went in the Alum Bay Sand shop, the kids filled little ornaments with sand to take home. The shops and cafe were open.
Then we took a little drive along the coast and out to The Dairyman’s Daughter for lunch, based at Arreton Barns. We looked in the shops and watched some glass blowing and making.
We returned to the lodge, then headed out for a walk down to the beach on site. We were lucky enough to spot a Red Squirrel.
