Such a good video, really interesting to see behind the scenes on a project like this. I don’t think people realise how much equipment and time and effort goes into producing shots like this.
Thank you. There are definitely plenty of moving parts most people don’t consider. The camp was the culmination of many people working hard at what they’re good at. It was great to be a part of 🙏🏼
Great video - so much work!! It’s also great to see something like this come together and see some behind the scenes of a team. It makes it much easier to connect with what they’re about and follow them in the races with more interest.
Great video, very much worth the wait! Love it when you document projects like this and we get to see all the behind the scenes work, also lovely drone shots with the epic scenery :)
Awesome video! Beautiful images. Loved the insights - guess you must really, really love....portraits. :) Cheers, Tristan. Can't wait for the next vlog.
Loved your videos! All the insight to photographing a pro training camp is so cool. You have inspired me to start doing some photography this year. Keep up the good work!
That was great. The look at your equipment was very interesting. The GoPro mouth-mount insight was interesting. I had always seen your downhill videos and thought 'Damn, he's one-handed going that fast!'. 😳
Great video, it´s very nice to see how a training camp really works cause everyone from the outside don´t think about most of the things you showed to us. Also very happy to see that Portugal, my country, is becoming more and more an option for cycling teams to do training camps. In here you will always have great food, people and most of the time wheater hahah =)
Great to see you work ... wow you have mad skills behind the camera! Really Nice shots! The Pactimo kit looks good on this team nice colors. Last but not least Congrats on recent Win on your new ride! 😉
Thanks mate! Yeah I’ve ridden with Ben a little, although he’s been away racing and now back in Andorra and heading to Paris-Nice this weekend. I’ve got a 5 day training video with him coming in a couple of weeks..just a few others to edit and release before then!
Nice, Tristan. Thanks for sharing this. How's the weather! Here on the North Coast of NSW in Australia, some of that sunshine would be amazing. Cheers mate, another great vid.
Always a perfect start to my work day if I get to start it with some new tristantakevideo YT content. Great video and looking forward to your future content. Can you do another video with Jack re his Everesting missions this year?
Super cool to see behind the scenes for you and the team! I noticed the bikes seemed to have different handle bar setups too, do they get to choose what they want for more then that and shoes?
Thanks man 🙏🏼 Some run aero bars and some regular round bars, depending on the frame they’re riding, but always Zipp. Shoes they’re allowed to choose, but otherwise the rest of what they use is team and sponsor-issue.
Morning Tristan, been watching a lot of your videos this week as discovering you. This video is very inspiring as a fellow sports photographer. It would be really interesting to know what your workflow is after you've done a full day shoot. What software programmes you use. How you send deliverables to your client, etc. Hope that makes sense? I am sure it would help a lot of aspiring photographers. Thank you, James
You're a content-generating machine. Be careful, the algorithm's soon going to stick your vids under many more noses and things are going to take off. Maybe take a holiday now while you still have the chance. ;-)
Great video - so much work!! It’s also great to see something like this come together and see some behind the scenes of a team. It makes it much easier to connect with what they’re about and follow them in the races with more interest.
Just goes to show how much the team loved your work and loved working with you as they did invite you back
Thanks Earl. 🙏🏼🙏🏼
The perfect video to watch before going out for a nice early spring ride - really digging your content

Very, very cool. But then your content is always top shelf. How do you find the time to win bike races as well?
Haha thanks man. A lot of time spent juggling my passions.

Haha let’s hope so. I feel like I live a holiday most of the time to be honest..can’t complain when this is my job! 😌
17:00 next time you're going to list a bunch of numbers and letters you should just put a timestamp to skip to when it's over :D
I classify it as educational content
Hi mate. When shooting the portraits with lighting did you flash them or was the light on constantly?
I was using constant lights for these portraits.
