Today I decided to turn on FILL in DMZ solo. I hear alot of you going through your ups and downs of squad fills so I wanted to see how it would go.

Every time I’m on a 6 man team we’re all like “let’s due a hunt squad contract! We’ll crush them!”
My 6 man team 5 minutes later: wiped by a 3 man team 😂
Yep seen it a few times . I solo killed 4/6 few weeks ago with a mortar strike .They left them to rot and then I had a 5 man of my own. Problem is no communication and they don’t spread out

The other day my team spotted a solo player running to the exfil chopper from a nearby house. We just got through some intense PvP and also had time before radiation reached us, so we opted not to push. Once he was gone, we went to shelter in that same building and saw backpacks EVERYWHERE. Dude wiped a full 6 man team by himself. Wish i could’ve seen exactly how it went down but that dude must’ve been on some serious john wick shit

As a fellow solo runner, those 5 and 6 man team are just too much. Unless you run across 6 completely incompetent people, it's damn near impossible to escape or evade. It feels like once 6 people group up, the objective changes from mission bound to "let's kill everyone we can"

Agreed. Almost every time I’m solo while driving a car and run into a 6 man team also driving around, I always gets chased down and completely fucked over. Especially if that 6 man has a bounty out on me then I have like no chance unless I can manage to get a helo.
Honestly if a 3 man squad start chasing me as a solo it's about 10-1 a death sentence

I play mostly solos as well. Sometimes I random squad fill and just run off to do my own thing. Then if I do go down, I can still plea. But often I feel bad for my abandoned team mates and end up reviving them, a lot.

Random teams are a gamble and I end up with players both without mics and oblivious to the conversation. I always enjoy your videos and commentary, always motivates me to get back to the game.

the mic can definitely save a solo mission in the dmz
the mic can also ruin your solo experience if you have lots of background noise

It would be cool to have a rope hanging from exfil choppers that a player could grab onto and ride out last second.
That would be quite cool for solo players and also means players wouldn't be able to use it for shitty reasons.
Ill’d like if you make it to final exfil it flips to vs ai, if I’m on that final exfil I’m rooting for other players to make it. Don’t fly out with players not in my team anymore but that started end of s2, players more ruthless now.

Two good spots in the city for vintage wine. KItty corner to each other. Lower left side and top right side. Same buildings. It's a restraunt and the frodges on the middle often have vintage

6 man squad is the best thing ever happend in dmz. u can help each other with mission. But now it hard to find friendly team in ss2. Now always met try hard

I find it's very 50/50. Some people will squad up instantly and some will just shoot in sight, even if u call friendly or to squad up.
@@bradrowe7808 DMZ now is a try hard zone not a friendly doing mission zone anymore and the bot even worst than the player, only need 1 or 2 bullet make u like a bot not them
@@joshwolf7482 I was just saying that to the fandoms I met yesterday and friended. I think it’s easier killing actual players than the bots sometimes
I avoid using a mic, because I'm a girl. I just had some really bad experiences. And of course I could just ignore some comments, but there's only so much rudeness you can take until you just stop having fun- it feels like I'm not allowed to play the game, because I'm female. I know not everyone is like that, but I feel like I don't want to put myself in such situations anymore.
It's a shame, because I really love and enjoy the game.

I completely understand that. My sister and mother game so I’ve seen how some insecure males respond. I would play on mute often if my experience was like that too. Hopefully more men grow up.

had 2 guys pleading for help Sunday afternoon and when i went to check out the situation they had a 3rd guy that killed me

There is also a building by Yum Yum that has a bunch of registers and fridges. It is the spot that usually has the UAV tower on the roof. You flew right past it near the end.

Yes the vintage wine is an gold item^^ u can find them at the hotel sarrif bay and most times in the 2 fridges (1st floor) in every police station.

At 32:20 in the video that was one of the small yum Yums but the big yum yum is to the east of the two tallest sky scrapers and before the highway over pass and usually has the UAV tower on its building but I find a vintage in there 60-65 percent of the time same building the yum yum burger back room key is used at, and a lot of the time it’s not looted because players avoid the city

That last building you check (burger town). There is a Yum Yum burger on the opposite side of the gas station that you next to that I found about 4 or 5 of them before. In Al Maz next to the U.S. Embassy.

Dude, yesterday alone trying to do the smuggling tunnel mission, 3 matches IN A ROW, after doing the tactical cameras, my team decided to join up with another squad and we got wiped out by another 6 man, a 4 man, and a 2-3 man. I'm not an amazing player but it was embarrassing. Went in solo the match after and completed the mission successfully 🙃
Sometimes solo is the best way
The secondary drop and pick up got patched. But if you equip an insured into your bag, leave primary open, put contraband into secondary. In game, drop secondary, then stow it, it'll drop your insured from bag, restow the insured, equipt secondary, then go into your bag and equip insured to primary slot. If you lose the gun camo you know it worked. I'm sure a ton of people already know this. But I have a full contraband stash of 10 insured weapons
Ya after the patch I don’t even bother with new glitches. Honestly I like playing the proper way most of the time. But I don’t mind or care if ppl do glitches
When I solo I always use push to talk but when In a group I don’t use the mic unless they have mics aswell

I think i had the most badass final exfil in the history of dmz S1.
So my friend had that 60k final exfil mission. during final timer we looted all 3 supply drops in the city and we didn't have much time left. It was either selling our stuff to get 60k or go to the final exfil in time. We hit the post office buystation quickly but we had like 20 sec when we were near the highrise building. Final exfil was on the far end of the al mazrah city(not police station). We knew we couldn't make it in time. So we got on the roof of highrise and We parashooted and intercepted the chopper as it was about to disappear. There was a full team of three already inside. They were so surprised like where these guys came from. Unfortunately i missed the chopper because it was too high in the air by the time i reached near it but my buddy who had the final exfil with 60 k mission made it. We were screaming like crazy and that team in the chopper wrote in the chat "exfiling like a boss". The fact that i missed because i was like half sec behind my buddy proves that my buddy made it at the last moment possible. Just imagine as you are about to leave the game you see a parachute 5 m away from you missing your chopper. 😆

you can also check in your start menu under team chat and it will show how many more players are in the game i use both hunt contract and that way

Good spots for vintage wine police stations second floor on right side of the stairs the second room, sharif bay, yum yum burgers yum yum burger back room key is great for vintage then there is a spot in the big sky scraper building on like the middle floor there is a kitchen area too, there are like 3-4 yum yum burger spots in the city but the main building is the best then sarif bay

So u drop ur injured weapon but have to have it in the second slot. Drop it repack it. You got double the weapon in your contraband. An it works for season 2 the new one??

My experience with randoms ever since season 2 dropped is fu@king horrible, No one EVER has a mic. So now I've been loading in with just a knife and a stim and if no one has a mic I just leave even if I have a 3 plate. I also find it hilarious how all of a sudden everyone wants to go player hunting when they have a team of 6. Also for some reason when i'm with more people than the 2 I came in with there seems to always be too much interference with mics or someone is always blasting their tv so loud it sounds like their in a imax theater. BTW, get off the game for 2 minutes and get your lazy a$$ up and put a new battery in your smoke detector

I used to belong to a clan where you could NOT play unless you had a headset with a mic. It's usually the kids who have no mic!

Squad fill is hit or miss and when i get a squad that doesnt have mics i usually take charge and tell them what we are gonna do i check their missions and do what i can to help them while making sure we have exfil

Yep 6 man squad feels op and yet it’s cool because the bots are nothing compared to 6 of us shooting them down and especially when a squad comes after us they get easily wiped lol

6 man teams are so OP, I just don't understand why they exist. It's not fun anymore to stomp on everyone on the map. Even team gunfights are so intense and tactically fun that I would just remove 6 man assimilation.

I only turn my mic on if I hear friendly. Other than that I don't use my mic but I don't use fill n run solo..

You can’t use those medical items, they are just for the mission.
Airport, wine is great location also yum yum burger shake
When you went to yum yum by the airport the fourth fridge you went in there was a 2500 bottle of wine which I am pretty certain was a vintage wine

I always play fill squad, its 50/50 with players in general, sometimes i use my mic, skmetimes not, i dont mind the no mics as long as they can use pings and coordinate properly, ive played with a 3 man, none of us where using mics, and let me tell ya these 2 guys where like human wrecking balls, we where on ashika island and where destroying teams was pretty cool

I like that you can mute individual players in your squad if someones annoying or watching tv. I just mute that one person. Ive had many teamates die but i dont hear them because they took on a team and died many times ive been left alone to dodge a team of snipers i dont like randoms. I play with my squad and if not im play solo so much easier.

My mic volume in Windows system sound was down to like 6 so for a good a week I was wondering why nobody would ever respond to me when I asked them if they wanted to join haha 🤷🏻♂️

ive had situations where i have everyone outside of my party muted for multiplayer, but then i load into dmz and forget to change it to all lobby so i cant communicate w other players for that first round. ive also had situations where im trying to talk thru prox chat (and can hear the other team as well) and the other team just ignores it and goes full thirst anyway. but yea i would say that prox chat can save ur ass in those situations where u have a chance of not fighting another team. unfortunately that is not every interaction tho lol

No, I firmly believe 6 man teams are harder to manage over a 3 man or solo. Here is why: You have the problem of fighting for comms, your mission is not a priority anymore, it now becomes chance to get it done, if a solo is skilled at not using proxy chat to speak, but instead listen they can easily wipe your whole team out. The pro of having a 6 man team is that you can survive in situations that demand help, like fighting the heli if you aren't using the sam site strat, or the jugg. No, what is overpowered is a skilled solo that is good at sniping and has plenty of patience...

No. You've got chaos. If my team ends up grouping due to someone's mercy on us, or our mercy on them we tend to just split. Sometimes we get a fourth guy who can work with us. That's nice, when it happens.

@MarkusGGEZ Sariff bay I’m the villa where you searched is usually where I’ve found vintage wine. I haven’t went to yum yum since season 2 started but remember grabbing a bottle of it in the locked back room of yum yum that you used to have to get a key to unlock it. Definitely haven’t seen much of it with this new change and it looks like it’s going to be a rare item to find.

My biggest squad was 12 players in al mazrah. One time my 5 man squad ran into another 5 man squad and it was like a multiplayer match on ashika.
I thought a 6-man squad was the most you could have?

@@MarkusGGEZ yes it was a bug in early season 1, two 6 man teams joined and the UI got so buggy the names would overlap each other on the screen.

Anybody have fun doing fills? I play solo and team up sometimes when people aren’t trying to kill me. But if the players that do fill are helpful, it’d be nice for some of these missions
I do squad up, can’t stand it when people jump in lobbies with no mics though. I’m down to squad up though.

No mic is a disadvantage, but sending a invite, banners their screen. If they don't know how to accept that is on them. If they don't accept it they die, its a simple and easy rule to not be totally bad.

I prefer soloing but I do have a headset and have used the commands on controller. I prefer it so far on my PS5.

I’ve been filling of late and If the person is blasting music or has a constant buzzing or anything immma leave while I’m still in the lobby. I’ll only talk if the people seem chill or only com when it’s important but for the most part I stick to pings and the spam of danger pings usually means player lol. I’ll do that even when I’m with my friends and wanna remain stealthy or if I’m separated and I can’t communicate to my team there’s players. Unfortunately being on console I haven’t figured out how to do commentary without potentially giving away my position etc. I feel like I’ve definitely had content worthy clips but it’d be better if console had discord that I could easily toggle in and out of.
I know xbox has discord now, but playstation is getting it later on
yeah, i revived all players i killed in a match yesterday, they ended up robbing my brother and wife when they got downed, also communication is hell running a big group, im done reviving the victims. no my brother is not my wife

Last night i have a 5 person squad and we were just driving till an ltv drove past us and started shooting and then we followed them in 2 different cars, they had a sniper on top of a hill and they downed the rest of my squad besides me and one guy went to loot my squad then i killed him, his friend comes to rez his and i kill him then the rezed player get me after i cracked the sniper

Vintage wine is a random loot drop. The hacienda you talked about has a high chance to spawn them. Also all the hotels (sawah, east of akdar, al mazrah city) has a bar in the front ground floor opposite the kitchen with 4 fridges where I have found them. Yum yum, both the one big one directly east of the north high rise tower, and the smaller ones (right north of air port, south west corner of city, north east corner of city) all have loads of wine that could spawn vintage wine. Then locked spaces, especially Ahmed grocery I have found there a few times.
Yeah, saw the lag and you totally missed the big yum yum. Looks kind of like a squished 6 pointed star on the map just east of the northern high rise. Also tons of cash registers.

Squad fill can very much be like a lottery, made some great friends and squad mates from it, but also some total losers
This is my experience as well. It's about 50/50 but usually I don't do anything or I go the other way if proximity chat gets triggered. If someone catches me off guard I start yelling "Friendly!!" lol
