I have done this. Used Fenugreek and kalonji seeds. Added coconut oil and castor oil and left it in sunlight for 15days. I have been using it since 2months. Hair growth has definately improved. Hair texture has also been better. I will definately keep using it and recommend to anyone who wants good hair

Castor oil is expensive and castor oil is hard to find since I live in poor neighborhood. I search information on computer, most information about (fenugreek oil) are fenugreek seeds and coconut oil/olive oil. Nothing about can't replaced.

What do you do with leftover methi seeds? Can they be reused for next batch of oil? Also, if we are making a larger quantity of this oil, do we need to proportionately increase the methi seeds?

Actually you can start using it straight away if you powder the seeds. It will continue to infuse and get better with time. Make a second jar which can sit and infuse while you use the first. You can also soak the seeds overnight.
Plastic bottle is ok to infuse or we need only glass jar??

I used curry leaves, amla, fenugreek seeds oil to stop hair fall ... It worked like magic... Visible results in 3-4 days... Also to grow more hair you can use coriander leaves juice as hair spray or tonic...

Very mildly roast the dry ingredients like curry leaves, methi seeds, amla pods in a pan.. then in a blender make a powder of these things... No need to make a fine powder.. coarse grains will do.. next in a pan heat about 100ml of coconut oil and add the powder.. bring to a boil and strain the oil.. your homemade herbal oil is ready... Use it 2-3 times in a week ... Keep it overnight or 1hr before shampooing with mild daily shampoo
Many a channels on UA-cam show this recipe... You can search and add other ingredients like neem leaves(anti-dandruff),hibiscus flower and leaves,fennel seeds etc for better results... To make coriander leaves juice.. just take 3-4bunches of leaves with strands, wash them thoroughly and put in grinder jar with little water.. then strain the mixture and store it in a bottle ... Keep it in refrigerator for 15-20 days... Spray onto your scalp and hair after shampoo... Just gently rub it on your bald patches or where you need more hair to grow.. after 7days you will see hair fall stopped and new hair is growing

The Castor oil is very hot for our scalp, it cause the pimples in our scalp so I recommend that the castor oil amount should be small quantity..

you can use your favorite oil(s), it doesn't have to be castor oil. hope this helps

Hi, I prepared the oil but since winter has started here, the oil got solidified. Can I keep it in the sun for a few hours every day,till itr ready to use?
Should we not use the oil until 3 to 4 weeks after dipping Fenugreek seeds
Take that solidified oil in a bowl and keep that bowl in another big container with hot water in it. Ofcourse don't let the water get into the oil. :)

Instead of applying anything externally.better to take soaked badam and soaked Fenugreek seeds mixed with honey ( enough quantity) of 2 spooons is much enough.and go for good massage with ur favourite pure oils almond castor ...etc.wteva.and stay hydrated .and eat egg everyday.u can go for weekly hairmask of eggwhite or hibiscus paste which is of herbals.these are my daily and weekly routine I follow.thank you.

Any shampoo will work. Condition your hair after washing it. Yes, you can re-apply the oil after washing it. Please make sure your hair gets completely dry before applying oil again
But you should not shampoo your hair everyday. As it eliminates the natural oils from your scalp. Try washing twice a week. But if you have oily scalp then wash it trice a week.

You are probably over oiling your hair or you are applying oil to very dirty hair, remember to use a very very mild shampoo which is free from SLS n parabens.most affordable would be himalaya baby shampoo... Wash your hair with lukewarm or slightly cold water, dry it and then apply oil. Don't leave oil for a long time. Use frequently, don't comb your hair right after oiling. Hope it helps
