A tight battle of 1st place between Hitoyasu Izutsu (Kawasaki) and Daijiro Katoh (Honda).
Unfortunately Izutsu (paired with Akira Yanagawa) did not finish (crash) while Katoh (with Tohru Ukawa) won the race.
Awesome bikes, awesome racing.

鈴鹿に見に行った。昨日の事のように思い出す。あんなにバイクに狂ってたのに、もう降りてから20年位経つか。仲間の顔を思い出し、リターンしたい気もするが、もう、乗らないだろうな(涙)何故か。でも、最近切なく思い出す
진짜 VTR 이랑 7RR 은 진짜 한대 소장하고 싶다.. MC22 는 가지고있다가 보냈는데 후회가 조금 된다..
I'm not sure it was Izutsu on the kawasaki like it says in the description and I believe it to be Akira Yanagawa due to the smooth and much more upright style of riding
Izutsu is riding at that clip. Yanagawa was his pair on this race but he had different helmet. Also If you listen carefully you can hear them calling his name.

@@zx749r It's funny my dad actually has a zx9r very powerful bike he chose that over the zx7r because it was a more comfortable option with a similar amount of power. Always loved that era of superbikes that's when I was watching Yanagawa on the old video tapes along with the other legends of that period

SP2 was a successful bike.. WHY THE FUCK JAPANESE STOPPED MAKING THEM. it done the most loops in Suzuki 8 hrs up to date.. it beat all bikes until now... 219 laps... no bike can or could beat that 219 laps
If Japanese could make it with 165kg dry.... SP2 would beat the world...

結果を見れば「残念でした」やけど、心意気としてみれば、「カワサキ(井筒、柳川)男前やがな」ですわ。
