My 5 & a 1/2 day old girl loves these songs. Smiles a couple times but always consistently looks likes she's in peace. In the first video I recorded of her listening to this song I had a notification that interrupted for a second lowered the drum beat and singing played the notification sound and she got upset. Made an angry face. Only lasted but 3 seconds than the beat and singing came back and she smiled.

I visited Acoma Pueblo some years back, their Buffalo Songs were similar to our Plains Cree Buffalo Songs, I had gone to visit the family of late Ralph Petiyamo.

Would love to see Southwestern style dancing become a thing at powwow. Sadly many of the tribes in Mexico have lost their traditional tribal dances and identity, so it would not be as traditional as mens northern or straight, but so many people labeled Mexican are finding their indigenous roots and should find a way to represent their tribes at intertribal powwow.

Thanks for your support for my people. We Native Americans do admire Celtic culture which the Welsh, Irish and Scottish people come from. There are similarities between Native Americans and the Ancient Celts.

@@hailoweenhailoween5264 I have always loved and respected your culture, since I was a young girl. You are right in saying there are similarities in our cultures. As the English tried to take our homelands and wipe out our culture. But I do not and will never try to compare to what your people went through. Ysbryd Caredig. @@sallyannwheeler6327 I understand what you're saying about not comparing your people's tribulations with my people's tribulations. Because I have met some folks before who dismiss the atrocities that my people went through and claim that their people had it worse. In my mind I'm thinking like tough times should be bringing people together not competing. With me as well as most Native Americans, we don't really belittle other people's struggles. Not only with the Celtic people, but Native Americans do feel a sense of connection with the Korean people because of what they went through with Imperial Japan. The way the Japanese treated them was real similar how the English treated your people and my people.

@@hailoweenhailoween5264 It breaks my heart to see what Russia/Putin is doing to the Ukranian people now. The greed and brutality of man never ends. It is so sad. I absolutely agree o other people’s struggles. There should be empathy in all. I admire your people’s spirituality and great Respect for Mother Earth greatly. Living in nature has always been my saviour. Mae Parch yn allweddol. (Respect is key) I just pray that this manmade climate change has a chance to heal. Mother Earth can only endure so much.
