When I first saw tha scene, I almost freaking cried. I'm an artist, and with the problems that come with AI art (The theft as it steals from real artists to learn, the job opportunities being lost, and the fights its caused within my family) it was so relatable to hear my own fears. Especially since art is really the only thing I'm good at. It's something I've worked towards my whole life, the only thing my parental figures appreciate about me, the only career path I can think of that wouldn't make me dread waking up in the morning.
So when I heard the way Donnie said that, my mind immediately replaced the words with my own.
"Because, I'm the art guy! If AI can do everything I can do, but cheaper, then why would you guys even need me?"
I can relate, I really do sometimes.
In my opinion though, AI might be convenient but it can never replace the dedication and skill development that comes from years of hard work and effort spent on drawing. It simply cannot replace artists’ skills and creativity. The world needs you king/queen!

Please... AI art is a bunch of crap. It's so fake and worthless. As an artist myself, I've learned that true art requires dedication, emotion, and most of all, HEART!!! You think AI can ever come close to replicating that?! Psh, the best AI can do is some random, meaningless shapes with some high-tech shading. But us? We're ARTISTS!!! We paint our EMOTIONS across a canvas of dedication!!! If something bad happens, we express that through ART!!! If we find beauty in something, WE PAINT IT!!! If we're passionate about something, WE DRAW IT!!! Nothing can take that away from us! We were born to take our experiences, and create MASTERPIECES!!! Art with value and meaning behind it! Art made with HEART!!!

it means he could’ve easily taken out draxum all by himself if it hadn’t- then the episode ends immediately after 🫣

Yes!!! Donnie is much more strong than what he's usually given credit for but I feel like he really started to doubt himself after that, but even so he is still LEGENDARY

donnie is absolutely the strongest turtle. his battle shell is probably super heavy and you can see he’s more built than leo. in the first episode he holds his own against baron draxum so easily and definitely could have beaten him if his tech didn’t glitch

I disagree with the take (people can still personally like their headcanon though but I've come across people not liking the headcanon due to all autistic framed characters being put in the aroace box automatically) That Donnie's fully aromantic like part of why (and I think a lot) of people like Donnie is that he's the nerd character but unlike that science twerp he's got style all snazzy, theater kid vibes, and a twinkle-toed little romantic on the stage reveling in grandiosity with just serenading that cosplayer man (forget the name of that space girly he liked) but he's FUN man don't forget that while working good intentioned he's got that mad scientist side without being evil either just not on the lawful good side of things for sure so he's fun morality wise too with nuclear warfare on the downright riskier side like he actually gets to be a fun smart character without being the voice of reason with: 'What do you think you're doing!! You're adding too much chemicals do it the right way we're going off course! >: ((' like you can have a traditionally high IQ'd character without their only quirk being a sniveling awkward simp (COUGH 2012 Donnie but he's still got a place in my heart) or a high brain powered character without arrogantly scuffing at all things romantic just dissing everyone into romance in that annoying; 'I have BETTER things to spend my time on..' fashion.
