Normally I would say the analytics would tell you what people prefer but in this case many people who watched it the first time may not watch it a second time. Personally I like the longer version but I'm retired and have all the time to watch. I've read that 15-20 minutes is the ideal length for videos cause everyone can find the time to watch at work or before dinner and once a video gets 30 minutes or longer your competition becomes TV shows and movies. I sub to a bunch of lawn care channels and most are in the 30-45 minutes range, that seems to be the sweet spot for your niche.
