My all time favorite game. Remember playing it when it first came out. Lights off and that intro music started up. Still gives me the creepy chills. Snagged the digital version off the PlayStation store a few years back and play it on my PS5 now. Love your channel btw 👹
Great review!!! I haven't played this in years.....time to revisit. I do have both games on PS2., but remembered being disappointed with the second one because they had to edit the kill scenes with fuzziness.
I need to replay the sequel, I haven't played since it came out. I was disappointed in it as well, but maybe all these years later, I'll find something that might intrigue me a bit more.
After playing this years ago, I was really into the stealth, even as far as GTA: San Andreas having that stealth mission. Reminded me a lot of this game. Then other games like Splinter Cell, and of course the Hitman series, but Manhunt, definitely my favorite as well for stealth.
I managed to 100% both MANHUNT 1 and MANHUNT 2. Best murder simulator stealth game you could find out there. And best of all? It's made by ROCKSTAR baby!
I wish I could have that talent to make games, even if they were free, I would do a Manhunt inspired game, I would do a SAW inspired game, I would love to do a Terrifier inspired game, make them brutally violent, and just over the top. Then I have had ideas in the past of games that would be very over the top, crude, etc.
@@HeavyMetalGamerShow i feel that being a writer, I've always had ideas that I felt could translate well into gaming formats. if it wasn't for the industry being so elitist, there may have been mediums for actualising these ideas on a wider scale of accessibility. but the industry seems to expect us all to have the knowhow to do it ourselves, as if words were enough to convince us that "its never been so easy to make games."
Yeah, they could of been better. It's funny, sure there is flaws, but sometimes games like this, or Carmageddon, that are easily top 10 games for me, has some flaws.
This game is a classic! It deserves a remaster/remake or at least a 3rd game in the series!
I think at best a remaster, and then a third game would be perfect. I want to know what happens to James Earl Cash and Mr. Nasty.

Thank you. When that intro music hits, I think we all stepped into a type of hell.

I remember watching my oldest sister playing Manhunt, I haven't played Manhunt ever but maybe I should in the future.
You need to check it out, it's so much fun, and the story is awesome.

I never 100% them sadly, one of these days I'll try, been close on the first game. It's ridiculous how many times I have played through that game.
Top review 👌 you went all out on this one. Dono what side of your brain you used but it rocked 😆 🤣 😂 😹

Hahahaha! Brian Cox did a hell of a job with the voice over.
@@HeavyMetalGamerShow that he did hopefully rockstar pulls their head out of their ass and makes a new game.
the Liveleak generation had the best games, I swear!
They did indeed. Time to bring games back like this.
@@HeavyMetalGamerShow agreed
the AAA industry's sharted the bed, perfect window of opportunity for this sort of gaming experience.

I just wish the shooting mechanics were better
