Beautiful job! I love amazonite. I found some nice pieces last year in Ontario, going back again this fall to find some more. I tumbled some not as nice pieces and they came out great, saving the nice ones for when I get a flat lap
Hey good for him...loved playing lacrosse here in NB when I was younger...paying for it now but well worth it. There seems to be more interest in organised lacrosse now too. Cheers from NB
Beautiful. Well done as always Jason. The pendants were snapped up very fast on your Etsy store…. Dammit! One day I will get a piece of Nova Scotia to wear around my neck.
Very nice work. The Virginia Amanozite I only know of two locations in Virginia, the Rutherford Mine and the Moorefield Mine in Amelia County. Both I believe are closed unfortunately. That piece you have I am guessing came from the Rutherford Mine. The specimens that Come from Moorefield are brighter blue, but fades in the sunlight and the grain is much more consistent. After cutting you would of jumped out of your socks by the color if it was from Moorefield.
Thanks so much for this! I was literally just talking about Amazonite. Every so often I'll come across something locally with a blue or blue green color in it and wonder if that's what it is. I've only seen tumbled specimens. This should really help! 😃
@@RockhoundingLife I've likely not seen it then, I haven't been up that way. I know blue agates and chalcedony when I see it. What else do we have that's blue? Light blue. Could it be blue slag? 🤔😀
I am always looking at rocks and pebbles in garden and when I am out I see fantastic things within them I would love to unlock the beauty with as you do Ifs an impossibility for me my hands don’t have the dexterity I need for this due to a medical condition But it gives me great joy to see your creations I always thought I was a bit crazy looking at stones Glad to see that others are as well 😂
Thanks for showing us some different types of amazonite and the finished product. 😷⚒
My pleasure!!!
I love amazonite!!! The color is just beautiful. Wow.
I too love amazonite!
Just beautiful!!
Thank you! Cheers!

I think the NLL and Halifax Thunderbirds have awakened the Lacrosse playing here in the Maritimes

Our tiny Province sure does produce a lot of interesting stuff!
100%
I've got some intensely deep teal amazonite and it's magnificent. Someday I'll cut it...
Have you been to Wales before in one of you vids you say a name of a beach from wales I found it on Google maps idk if its the same one
No I have not been to Wales. Lots of UK names wwre duplicated in Nova Scotia over the past 300 years.
Any rock identifying apps you got
I don;t use rock identifying apps. I need to hold the rock in my hand to identify it.
Congratulations Travis! 🇨🇦
This Amazonite is absolutely gorgeous. I saw pendants in your opening screen.. Are those pendants for sale? Do you have a store? Thank you!
We have an Etsy store. The link is in the description of this video.
They look amazing 👍
Really beautiful stones! I loved the pendants!
Thank you! Cheers!
