Yes, it is very YG, and I am not just referring to the company, it is very the style of YG rappers, but it is also very YG (yang hyun suk), it reminds me of how he rapped in seo taiji and boys, very the 90s kpop hiphop style, and it makes sense because he is also credited as a writer. And if we add to that the ruka flow, it is incredible
First heard it without reading the credits and thought it’s reminded me of WINNER’s songs (AKMU and iKON’s old songs too), then I saw AiRPLAY name as one of composers and producers, I’m like “Oh that’s the reason cause there is his name” (AiRPLAY produced a lot of WINNER’s songs), it’s really YG style of easy listening song, and the lyrics of both Asa and Ruka are truly MINO’s style

I hope AIRPLAY becomes one of the main producer for BM. I really love his songs which made me love Winner and now Babymonster with love maybe and really like you

Aside from the distinct YG sound, this track also has a nostalgic feel, reminiscent of early R&B, particularly TLC’s “Waterfalls.” I’m vibin’ with that beginning rap part, singing “Don’t go chasing waterfalls…” any way, love love the song and great selection added to their discography. It's probably not, but the guitar you like sounds more like a stand up bass to me. The tone is really deep and rich, and I'm no musician, but I don't think a regular guitar can make that deeper, lower tone.
