I always thought moonshiners was dumb. We aren’t in prohibition anymore. The only reason a permit is required is so the government can ensure public safety. There is no viable reason to make and sell distilled alcohol illegally. The risk to reward ratio just isn’t there.
Thank you for highlighting this. No reality TV show is real. They all have producers, directors, scripts and very careful editing. They can make ANYONE the hero or the villain with editing. They are designed to tell a story, not to show reality.
I once heard Rush Limbaugh give an opinion on "Reality Shows." He said when asked why he didn't do tv anymore. He said "the moment you introduce a camera into any situation nothing is natural or real anymore".
This video is my dose of reality TV for a handful of years. I mean, I just can’t stand to watch that stuff. It feels fake and scripted. I mean I know that it is but it just doesn’t hide it very well I remember VH1 would always do different reality shows but they would just grab different actors from the different reality shows that they had and just put them together. It was like they had a pool of actors and they would pick and choose from that and say well, you’re going to be on this reality show
I am surprised that Hardcore Pawn isn't on this list. First off I have worked in the TV industry as a Camera Operator and every person appearing on camera MUST put a signature on a contract. That is unless it is in the ENG, (Electronic News Gathering) end of things like COPS. Second is you can see the wireless mics on the actors belt lines and sometimes they fall out when the actors are being put out of Pawn Shop. It is as phony as a $3.00 bill.
Everyone knows these "reality" shows are anything but reality. I wish you would look into 90 Day Fiance and it's various different creations. These people look and act like out of work actors who are given a script to ad lib most of it. In addition to reality shows, it would be nice to see about game shows that came under fire back in the 50's. I'm certain the much loved "Jeopardy" has a number of shady nuances to make the show seem to smoothly run with none of the contestants ever saying "um" or "ah" and almost none of them doing so badly that they just flunk out before the final clue. It appears the show is scripted, edited and finessed down to the second to get just the correct run time. Also, The Price is Right, Wheel of Fortune, and other such shows might make a good video.
I have watched very few of these shows and, of those I watched, only a few episodes. Why? Because it seemed so fake. If I'm going to watch fantasy, I'll watch fantasy, not stupid scripted crud.
What do you think is the worst reality TV show?
Reality TV is just doing what Professional wrestling has been doing for years, blending the fourth wall of reality between the show and the audience.

You can get a gallon of cheap vodka for like 15 dollars. No reason to risk someones ability to get the poison out of their product.

Next they will be saying The Blair Witch doco was fake. Shhhhish
as long as Wednesday, Agatha All Along and Stranger Things are real, I'm good.
I'm surprised anyone thinks any of this shite is real
It's legal to make moonshine in alot of places. They sell whole stills online. It's a hobby.
What is under that blue tarp? Covers up case of empty Everclear bottles.

There are few people who can see around all the bulls**t. You and I are just a few of those people.
