maybe the devil part of it could be that after the events of the ntr he runs into a manor that the boos are in and no longer caring about anything he lets them possess him so unlike normal devil mario he does sill have a 50/50 control of his body vs the boos since less are in him then were in mario due to both less being needed and him doing what they want willingly and all he asks of the boos is revenge with the boos using his body to just live life and kill random evils
I like to think that when Hiroki isn’t in the costume, the costume is a living costume and when the costume sensed Hiroki’s anger and rage, it wanted to help get revenge on Hiroki’s family….take the lyrics “ It’s-a Hiroki’s time!” for example, the costume knew that it was Hiroki’s time for revenge, so it allowed Hiroki to take control over….does anyone else agree?

I've got an idea for another au you could do. It would be for the Dark Forest song, and would revolve around Hiroki possessing Kanoko. Basically, Hiroki, after another brutal and violent beating from Kokujin, Hiroki finds the tapes, (much like he did in this au) and ends up not being able to handle it emotionally, and so he runs away into aokigahara forest, where he ends up committing seppuku to die honorably. After a few days, Kanoko, finally noticing that Hiroki is nowhere to be found, starts running around town in a panic, scared to death for her little brother's safety. She ends up running into aokigahara in a panic, and stumbles upon hiroki's body. Overcome by grief at the loss of her little brother, she starts to hear, what she thinks are voices in her head, but is in reality, Hiroki's spirit, which isn't at peace due to his hatred for the others. 1 year goes by, and eventually Kanoko revisits where she found him, only to start being corrupted by Hirkoi's spirit, due to his presence being the strongest where he died. This ends up changing Kanoko's hair and skin color to ones closer to Hiroki's, and her bones start to turn to wood. She's alive through all of it, but can do nothing to stop her body from being taken over, to be used to enact revenge on Hiroki's tormentors. just an idea I had, not the best, but hey, it's all i got for now.
I thought this was based on the super mario killer creepy pasta, where a man built a metal mario costume and killed his bullies, who disfigured his face and his costume was 2 inches of solid steel and had lvl 2 kevlar the only reason he died was because the cops shot him between the kevlar and in the head.
