I recently just bought a 2004 v-star 1100. Bought bike for $2,000 , very good overall bike with low cost of ownership. Thanks for the review because alot of us out there can’t justify spending $20,000-$30,000 on a motorcycle. I never spent more then $10,000 new or $5,000 used for a bike. Thanks again!
One great bike, I have two of the 1100 and one 650. The 06/1100 and 05/650 for 10yr's now
Got a 04/1100 last fall and made a bobber, by summer it was a solo cruiser.
That was a good review, Thanks
Thank you for the support! I was happily surprised with it and I believe it is a excellent choice as a cruiser.
Oddly I have never watched this review before. As you may or may not know I own a Vstar 650 Silverado, and absolutely LOVE it for poking around backroads and in town. Super comfy and *very* light weight. And I often recommend it for men & decent sized woman as a *CHEAP* 1st bike if cruisers are their thing. I have seen many, many 650's *under* $2k with less than 20k mi. on the clock. I prefer it to my old HD XL1200C, but only because of it's smoother ride and less vibration. Having that been said, the 2018 Harleys are looking veeeeerrrrryyyy tempting! hahahaha!
One of the fellas I work with has the 2005 Yamaha 1300 and had it for some time now and he seems to like, as you know Hedgehog" I have the 2005 rocket 3 and I can't say enough about my ride; within a day or so I'm having the power commander 3 installed because I removed the baffles from my exhaust system and I am getting a lot of deceleration pop. "Be well and Be Safe"
That should even it out for you. I was surprised at how much I liked it.
I'm from Norman too ! We should ride !
What kind of exhaust does it have on it?
Cobra exhaust unsure of series.
I've got a 2003 Vstar 1100. It was my grandfather's. 1,800 miles.
A brand new motorcycle then. I hope you get to enjoy it for many years. Ride safe!
