i dont understand whats sad about it? People get married, get old, one dies and the other is left alone, this is suppose to be super sad? I agree with the one guy, its a 1 tops
It was all fun and games till they whipped out the UP clip. Goddamn it facts, I had tears in my eyes, and I was just supposed to watch other people suffer ffs I didn't sign up for feels ok
I always say that Up has a better love story in ten minutes than most romantic comedies. Most people at least tear up if not cry. I lost a child so just that one baby scene gets me going. It is really wonderful how much they care for each other.
Do you know why "Up" sad story gets most of the people? Cause it's real life summarized in few minutes. You know that you will go through all that sadness too, so you just cry because you cannot do anything but wait for it.
I don't believe that's where the true sadness of the clip lies, as there is MUCH you can do other than just wait for death. For me, the sadness comes from knowing that these two people were obviously so in love with eachother and with life, and had so much planned that they wished to experience together, but they couldn't because things got in the way. Eventually they remembered those goals they had set long ago and became determined to see some of them through, but one of them couldn't make it. Seeing the guy go from a determined and fired up old man to a completely defeated and hopeless one in a mere instant... that's the devastating part you can't help but empathize with. Knowing he wanted more than anything to give his partner in life some ounce of what they had previously hoped for, and then suddenly not being able to do so because she's gone... Yeah, that's when the tears come.
S Zombie77 it's called empathy. people don't have a reason to feel sad for these they just do because they empathize with what's going on onscreen and some people just simply cannot find that empathy for things they see on a screen because there's a disconnect between emotions and fictional storytelling.
cheeseytaco gamez I know the original comment was a joke I was offering a reply to someone who was talking about why he doesn't feel sad and came off like he was telling people not to
I don't actually want to see them critique abstract Art....but because you keep trying, I want them to. Determination deserves reward. Stop being faceless facts. Don't be buzzfeed/react.
I'd love to see them reacting to Alex Jones, speaking of someone who has no idea what a "fact" is. And that bimbo bitch off of Blaze TV who's a pathological liar as well.
I began watching this...Saying to myself..."How can they make MEEEE cry"...lol...THEN, I remembered. And once again, watched that part in "UP" ......I cried yet again...lol...YOU GOT ME...
UP gets me every time. I ALWAYS cry through that entire movie but the beginning...holy crap. I'm bawling my eyes out right now and I've seen that film at least four times.
Two scenes that always get me (apart from that opening scene from 'Up'); Ash's "death" in the first Pokemon movie, And Aeryn's breakdown when Crichton collapses in 'Farscape: The Peacekeeper Wars'.
I guess I’m not human. I didn’t even come close. I was watching it with someone who was sobbing and I just laughed at her. Got much closer to crying during Coco.
The opening scene from Guardians of the Galaxy where (spoiler alert!) the mom dies from cancer hit me right in the feels. Glad I saw it in the afternoon on a week day, because I was struggling to keep it together in the theater.
Aww, hugs to the crying guys. You should have gotten some of our (US), ASPCA commercials. Those poor animals and the sad music in the background would have had everyone bawling.
The 🆙 one hit me right in my childhood, apart from being sad on its own. Should have gotten a straight 60/60, I know I'd put in my 10 anyway but what the fuck was Ryan(?) thinking with 1?
It's just an observation, but it seems to me that "UP" makes men cry more often than women when it comes to these challenges. I wonder if it hits on a fear that so many men have of finding the right partner, and then outliving them and the inevitable fear that we not only lose that special person, but also lose our purpose for going on. I mean in the Western world, it does seem to me that boys and men are raised to see our sole purpose as providing for and protecting women and children; that may sound traditionally sexist, but I see very little change in the way boys are being cultured, even in the modern age. I mean doesn't "He For She" say it all in that regard? A feminist initiative that seems to be all about enlisting boys and men to fulfill that traditional gender role or fighting for women, and ignoring our own interests?
Up always gets me. Not only because it's (one of many) emotional parts of the movie but it reminds me that death is inevitable. I'm going to die, everyone I love is going to die, and there's gonna be things I'll never have the chance to do either because of money or something else and it really puts life into perspective for me which is why I'm saving up to travel. I'm going to Greece this year and I plan on going to Norway next year and so on.
Strange how none of these make me cry, but the movie Excalibur does when Arthur finds out that Guenevere has kept Excalibur for him for all those years at the convent.
Its so sad that the lads felt embarrassed for getting emotional. I personally find men who are not afraid to show their emotions ore attractive then "real men" as they are called, cause its the men who show emotions that are the ones that have the good heart and will really love you. Society is so hard on men in that sense
the one thing about the last one was that I keep remembering an article came out about a terminal ill little girl wanted to see this movie before she died. The studio took it to her hospital room. she died the next day. can't help to wonder what her and her parents went through emotionally while watching this movie.
That first advert made me cry when I first saw it cause it was so sad that all his family couldn't bother when grandad was alive...always make time for those you say you love. xo I still can't watch UP again. It's like Dumbo. Can't cope.
I cry every time I watch UP, hands down. My husband didn't know that and we sat down with our then-3-year-old and watched it and I bawled like a big baby and he made fun of me 😭
I was cool until "Up" showed up. Those first 10 minutes alone deserves an award.
Daezy Gilder
sure fucking does!
i dont understand whats sad about it? People get married, get old, one dies and the other is left alone, this is suppose to be super sad? I agree with the one guy, its a 1 tops
+Andy L
How old are you?
lol what does that have to do with anything? i am 28
Andy L TRIGGERED! I'M TELLING THE UA-cam COMMENT POLICE!
Man, playing the opening to "Up" is like cheating.
It was all fun and games till they whipped out the UP clip. Goddamn it facts, I had tears in my eyes, and I was just supposed to watch other people suffer ffs I didn't sign up for feels ok
Madeleine PH
I think a lot of people are in the same boat as us 😭
Madeleine PH that clip makes me cry 10/10 times.. do not feel like a man any more
Madeleine PH YUP, that shit's emotional napalm 💣
I love when a man can show emotion. Shows heart.
Honestly that Up clip is not that sad. Once you've seen some of the truly sad stuff out there, it's only like a 6/7.
"(Crying) it's the balloons"
"(Comforting) I know."
😂😂 cracked me up.
It's the balloons
I always say that Up has a better love story in ten minutes than most romantic comedies. Most people at least tear up if not cry. I lost a child so just that one baby scene gets me going. It is really wonderful how much they care for each other.
Sorry for your loss.
Do you know why "Up" sad story gets most of the people? Cause it's real life summarized in few minutes. You know that you will go through all that sadness too, so you just cry because you cannot do anything but wait for it.
Elisa Risconti That hit the spot.
Knowing he wanted more than anything to give his partner in life some ounce of what they had previously hoped for, and then suddenly not being able to do so because she's gone... Yeah, that's when the tears come.
It didn’t get me tho
The 2 guys who cried ... I don't know why but that was so attractive to me! I'll give you hugs
They're real darlings aren't they?
I agree man it's that one blue balloon.
It's settled then: Ryan has no soul Lol.
It's his only shtick. You know the thing about people who are bored by everything, they're boring. He's boring.
For a guy who's boring you're definitely talking about it a ton
S Zombie77 it's called empathy. people don't have a reason to feel sad for these they just do because they empathize with what's going on onscreen and some people just simply cannot find that empathy for things they see on a screen because there's a disconnect between emotions and fictional storytelling.
+Cristian Delgado
come on its just a joke
cheeseytaco gamez I know the original comment was a joke I was offering a reply to someone who was talking about why he doesn't feel sad and came off like he was telling people not to
These young people showed true heart. Emotion travels deeper than intelligence. Thank you.
I love that these guys aren't afraid to show their emotions😍😍
I don't think it's a matter of not being afraid to show their emotions, it's that you just cannot hide them with Up
i said this before and i'll say it again, this channel is a 100 times better than buzzfeed
Nope, Buzzfeed's much more varied content has them beat.
But the people here are better.
+Thubelihle Zondi buzzfeed is buzzfeed. Buzzfeed takes the L just for being buzzfeed.
eh, have to disagree. The people have more soul. :/
'Buzzfeed is more varied' Aren't they on like their 50th video about periods by now?
*Irish people critique abstract art.*
Sean M one day...one day my friend
I don't actually want to see them critique abstract Art....but because you keep trying, I want them to. Determination deserves reward.
Stop being faceless facts.
Don't be buzzfeed/react.
Sean M If they eventually do this I want them to dedicate that episode to you
Sean M and famous overrated paintings
cutiexoxoxo1 this isn't the first person to comment it
so the guy who hates food is also dead inside...
Its funny because he laughed a lot in the try not to laugh challenges..
Chain Plays That wasn't him. That's Donal, I think. He has black hair.
Daezy Gilder oh shit thats right. MY MISTAKE!
*hates everything
lol that's a big surprise...........
Irish People React to the Grapefruit Technique
Matthew Evans They so should 😂😂😂
Matthew Evans oh God LMAO
I hadn't seen that yet.
... UNTIL NOW.
Facts should make a spin off channel called Alternative Facts.
Bowling Green Massacre #NeverRemember
Matt B No they should just watch clips of CNN 😂
I'd love to see them reacting to Alex Jones, speaking of someone who has no idea what a "fact" is. And that bimbo bitch off of Blaze TV who's a pathological liar as well.
HA!
I began watching this...Saying to myself..."How can they make MEEEE cry"...lol...THEN, I remembered. And once again, watched that part in "UP" ......I cried yet again...lol...YOU GOT ME...
The two boys that get all pink faced!I just wanna give them a hug.
lmao they pre-cry at UP just knowing what's coming. Using Pixar is unfair, all that proves is they have a soul
Futurama, when Seymor waits for Fry.......
Just thinking about it makes me weepy. Poor doggie!
LevityMire That one always gets me, as well as the episode about Fry's brother and the lucky clover.
LevityMire lol shut yo mouth ! My son saw that scene one day when he was about 8 and came running in crying.
Or the one when Fry is stung by the space bee.
LevityMire Or how about the one where he desecrates his nephews grave thinking it was his brother trying to steal his idea.
I was fine until they showed "Up", then it was all waterworks.
Me: "Try Not to Cry" pshhh EASY! (sees Up) *oh fuck*
*Irish People Try Good Weather*
Congrats. You copied somebody elses comment.
Sonygamer97 Lol who's?
Congrats. You copied someone elses' comment.
where would they find good weather ?
UP gets me every time. I ALWAYS cry through that entire movie but the beginning...holy crap. I'm bawling my eyes out right now and I've seen that film at least four times.
Sean M.... do your thing.
They say that people who cry during movies or ads that they have a huge heart. They care more about other people than they do themselves. ❤️
I cried at UP. Like someone pushed a button and the tears just came streaming down my cheeks. I weep so easily :'(
Me too, it's just the ultimate sadness, you don't weep easily.
Widdekuu91 true. but I also weep on a regular base. Dem feels
Two scenes that always get me (apart from that opening scene from 'Up'); Ash's "death" in the first Pokemon movie, And Aeryn's breakdown when Crichton collapses in 'Farscape: The Peacekeeper Wars'.
Got it. Old people make Irish people cry... and balloons.
i have seen every ad even years, months ago and believe me the second one is heart touching lv 9000
Seeing John cry actually broke my heart, and I was just dumped a week before Valentine's Day so that didn't help at all
Definitely his lost.
Up always gets me since it reminds me of the passing of my grandmother...also it's hard to see dudes cry so that was another helping actor.
I cried. I've always cried and forever will for that scene in Up.
Fucking Ryan though. Still like you.
That early sequence of UP! is one of the most perfect things Pixar has ever put to screen. Never fails to make me sob. It is heartbreakingly real.
You should've shown them the ending of that Futurama episode 'Jurassic Bark' with the dog. That one destroys me.
I don't understand how any of this makes people emotional. Still was fun watching their reactions.
if you do not cry to Disney's Pixar Up you are not human
Mitch Bookey couldn't have say it better myself it's just hits you man it's just hit you in a good way 😢😊
So true
I guess I’m not human. I didn’t even come close. I was watching it with someone who was sobbing and I just laughed at her. Got much closer to crying during Coco.
@@slovak4life1991 good job you are very cool!
Aarbinn I know. I don’t need you to confirm that for me. Now go fuck yourself.
That's the beauty about that portion of "Up". It tells an entire life story, without ever saying a word.
The first guy crying at the cartoon when they get married, SO SWEET!
This Up scene never affected me until I lost my mom last year. My dad was right by her side the entire time so that is what it reminds me of now.
People watch "The Princess Bride" for the first time.
Inconceivable!!!
toddsmitts That would be awesome!
You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means.
:P
The beginning of Up and the end of The Iron Giant. Cartoons or not, they get me every single time.
Irish people watch Beavis and Butthead.
Movie or TV show?
***** I was going to say Do America, but any episode featuring the great cornholio will do.
Good choice for the Animated Film, Up, it gets me every time!!
Ryan's cynicism is fucking exhausting
Yeah it's getting old.
Just the clips of the beginning of UP made me start bawling.
can we watch Tom do 'the manly thing' plz?
I don't know which is more disturbing, the comment alone or the fact that 18 people agreed.
@@Hankonater Coming up on a 100 people agreeing now. Gotta love the internet
The opening scene from Guardians of the Galaxy where (spoiler alert!) the mom dies from cancer hit me right in the feels. Glad I saw it in the afternoon on a week day, because I was struggling to keep it together in the theater.
They should have done the Futurama clip with the dog.
All I can say to that is..... Haichi
Dude...putting that beginning part of "Up" is not fair. That part is one of the best bits of filmmaking ever.
Irish people watch Dr. Sandra Lee
.44 is one of the times I've laughed the hardest in my life. Well done.
My god she with the glasses is cute!
I held out until Up...then I became a sobbing fool with tears trailing down my cheeks! Damn you Facts...damn you!
i always cry at up, always
millie your profile pic:)👌👌👌
The beginning of up is so heart wrenching
To our new camera we will add a homeless guy to protect your property during the night time!
Buy two cameras and we will give him a stick!
Aww, hugs to the crying guys. You should have gotten some of our (US), ASPCA commercials. Those poor animals and the sad music in the background would have had everyone bawling.
Seymour the dog gets me every time
Squirrel!
The one guy in the jacket always cracks me up. World Heavyweight Sandbagging Champion.
Please surgeons watch greys anatomy
I'm not even Irish but I love this channel already
But the camera didn't save anyone. Yea it just fucking watched.
Oh man, that was SO UNFAIR to put that Up part in. It is humanly IMPOSSIBLE to not cry during that scene!!!
The 🆙 one hit me right in my childhood, apart from being sad on its own. Should have gotten a straight 60/60, I know I'd put in my 10 anyway but what the fuck was Ryan(?) thinking with 1?
When just in 5minutes of up it makes everyone cry and is the most depression animation of all time
It's just an observation, but it seems to me that "UP" makes men cry more often than women when it comes to these challenges. Women generally outlive men though
The first 10 minutes of Up and the last 10 minutes of Homeward Bound always makes me cry.
React to my 'my Dad is a Liar' and 'Silence of Love'.
Basically, another 'Try no to cry challenge.'
AHHHHHHH! Even with the guys chatting over the top... UP! Maaaaaaaaan, sitting here balling my eyes out...
Even though Ryan doesn't have a soul. I can't help but think he's cute. Something's wrong with me
Ruby-Lou
You are not alone. Ryan is an attractive ginger.
Hes a little bitch
Try not to cry challenges? Most people: "pfft yeah whatever... I never cry!" Pixar: "Hold my beer"
Damn those balloons😭
Up always gets me. Not only because it's (one of many) emotional parts of the movie but it reminds me that death is inevitable. Im totally like Ryan.
Eve Yitagesu dead inside?
So you're a dick? Got it.
i've never full on cried at up until now, at 3 in the morning - bawling my eyes out in the dark.
thanks
Up gets me every time... and Wall-E... and Toy Story 3. Damn you, Pixar!
the one thing about the last one was that I keep remembering an article came out about a terminal ill little girl wanted to see this movie before she died. The studio took it to her hospital room. she died the next day. can't help to wonder what her and her parents went through emotionally while watching this movie.
I love that it was all the guys who cried at Up. Except for Ryan because he's a robot.
That first advert made me cry when I first saw it cause it was so sad that all his family couldn't bother when grandad was alive...always make time for those you say you love. xo I still can't watch UP again. It's like Dumbo. Can't cope.
Watched everything with a giant smile on my face.
Oh good for you. You must be very proud of yourself. Have you told your mother yet? Go tell her so she can be proud of you too.
This is the reaction I expected from Ryan in the try not to laugh challenge 😂
Jaysus, I do love Aine's dirty laugh. It's glorious!
She said: "when I'm not beside this one" lol That guy is such a mood killer but from a distance it's amusing.
Should of shown the part in up where she filled up the book with her adventures with him, so heartwarming
Ryan cracks me up! The comments about him do too!
I've never seen that movie because i was avoiding that scene, damn you facts I'm crying,
Ryan is as emotional as a rock. I have never seen a facts video that he likes anything.
When in doubt, go with the Thai life insurance commercials. They get me every time. And then throw in a dog rescue just for good measure.
I cry every time I watch UP, hands down. My husband didn't know that and we sat down with our then-3-year-old and watched it and I bawled like a big baby and he made fun of me 😭
I wasn't even watching their reactions to Up. I was watching the clip. And crying. Again.
I have never cried watching Up.
