Just realize the opening baseball announcer is hinting at the DLC’s story. “A double steal! No one has cracked this defensive powerhouse all season but Detroit (aka Adam) has cracked the code.”
At the end Adam's metallic heart shows that he is not as he is used to be but after he says take care of yourself you can see that he still has a soft part It was deep but maybe i am too sensitive
seriously, this game for be a 2016 game is.. just a precious game and I hope I will can play another deus ex. This game for what is it, is so underrated, anyway good gameplay and very smooth.
Guy Estiverne ya in black light even when Prichard and Adam were talking even when he thought Jensen was dead he acted like he always does a huge prick

I wonder if @urgiduurrgghh thinks deracinated means what it actually means. Or maybe he thinks being "well-rooted" in one's own culture obligates disapproval of other races and cultures in our media? 😁 But yeah Vega sucks. Her voice actor can't pronounce "Prague" for fuck's sake ... in a game set in Prague.
I really dont like these DLCs not because you need to pay extra, its because you need to play these stories without being fully upgraded. Being fully upgraded brings the gameplay on an entirely diffrent level. Good Job Eidos Montreal....
I agree with that, it’s annoying when you upgrade everything in the main game and then you have to reupgrade everything. As least it makes sense in the missing link dlc tho since Adam gets everything tooken away
This is some smooth, well-planned an executed gameplay. Highly pleasant to watch. Would fit on a show-reel. PS:You don't need to knock them out after tazing them. lol
1:11:36 there's a box attached to the wall in this room (the one before the gas chamber) if you slide up the piece of metal there's a wheel to turn off the gas.
I don't like how Adam is rude and shows disdain for pritchard. In HR he lowkey liked pritchard and would have cheeky backhanded banter. In MD he straight up hates him and is rude? Whyyy i actually like pritchard and the relationship they had in HR.
Adam doesn't hate him in MD, at the end even though Adam turns off the call before Pritchard finishes his sentence, he says "take care of yourself" he respects Pritchard, always have, always will..
if you work in very big corporations you will understand how coworker's relationship work .. I mean some time you want your coworker to work not to make friends and go in picnic and somtimes or many times friendship will stand in the way you don't want that so instead you keep it this way.. and now he is interpol agent .. doing to many favors will made his job hard so it is reasonable adam giving pritchard some hard time instead of ending this relationship because adam is needing pritchard and so pritchard wont ask adam for many favors
Yeah I get the impression it’s more to do with both of them having pride, and sometimes one knows better than the other but won’t ever admit it to their face. However, when they work as a team, they get shit done, and know what is at stake. Essentially, they have mutual respect for each other professionally, but their personalities deny them being able to say so.
I hate how the DLC isn’t integrated into the main game and I can’t even use my load out of items while playing and have to start from scratch with my augs and weapons.
Your comment is the answer to the question I’ve been asking myself. I went straight to the story dlc after finishing the main game and have been sitting here scratching my head, wondering where all my stuff went. I thought maybe I’d deleted a save or something.
You can transfer your weapons, from the inventory/storage from the main game to the DLCs. I've transfered the Elite edition of the Pistol to Desperate Measures, but definitely the Augmentations will not transfer as we all have witnessed. Probably the game wants us to refresh our build out as Jensen, although we can get all the Augmentations within NG+ if anyone hasn't bothered buying the Praxis Kits in the main game...
Playing this right now and the game is either bugged or its not telling you that you need to see through walls. I can't open that secret door in ShadowChild's apartment. Any help?
Basically, yes, it technically is still unfinished as the devs at Edios Montreal wished to make another game or two that would take the save data of Deus EX: MD and use the ending that you got to shape the story in the next based off of the players actions. However Square Enix cut out content that should have been present in the main game to sell it off as extra DLC (I.E., this side chapter, along with "A Criminal Past" however the "Desperate Measures" one is currently free), this coupled with the terrible marketing campaign (look up Square Enix's hilariously bad "Augment your pre-order" fiasco), made the games sales very poor, causing Square to put the Deus Ex franchise on a 5 or so year hiatus (at least I hope it isn't 5 years, if Square wasn't retarded this would have sold really well.)
That doesn't happen in game dev - while the base game is wrapped up and usually when console validation is taking place, the studio can either lay off the content creators (artists, level designers, etc) or have them create smaller, supplemental extra content (DLC). It' not cut and sold off later - studios don't have time or resources to actually do this. Please don't spread disinformation that tarnishes the creators.
IIRC the (short and unremarkable) Tong mission on Human Revolution was an example on on-disc "extra content" - and that was a bad business practice (forced by publisher? idk) but the actual additional content will not be on-disc. The Tong rescue mission was noticeably not of the same kind of quality as the Mankind Divided DLC, or even the Missing Link DLC. Unless you're thinking that developers have the time and budget to finish up the entire game before the deadline, then manage the technical side of "cutting out" content, cleaning up all the dependencies that are now redundant, all before both Microsoft and Sony validation checks? All the while keeping content creators employed? It doesn't happen.
hypermodel just out of curiosity and not condemning; how do you know so much about the production of games? Is it research or are you involved in the process somehow?

James Howlett it took me more hours to finish MD than it took me to finish HR BUT that’s because I wanted to be stealthy as shit in the second game, in the first game I killed basically everyone. Even taking more hours to finish the MD (side quests included) I found the game shorter than the first one. I got like 2 boss fights in MD? In HR feels like there’s more /content/ to the game

Nice observation. Pritchard also refers to the heist as a "home run" at some point.
I really want Deus ex to make another game again
They will make one in the long future.
Mee too
Same
I agree I really like both of them
Will never happen. Deus ex simply isn't a very commercially viable series and Square Enix is all about the cash
gotta love that little smile adam has at the beginning when he's watching the ball game
For real lmao, he looked so happy before Pritchard ruined his R&R night

God, I miss Pritchard. Alex Vega is so boring and she does nothing useful.
This DLC worth just for him!

The DLC is excellent but should have been included in the main game.
you're asking for too much, the game wasn't a financial success so be grateful you even got a dlc
@@paintsniffer401It wasn't a success because of Square Enix's foolishness.

One of the best plays I ever seen. Well done.
Next Deus Ex will be sooo intense and mysterious...
Do you have any clue when it will be released? Just asking..
I remember the first time i played this DLC. All the robots were after me and i jumped in the river with just 1HP

nothing a little trainer can't fix
Agreed, they could at least could have done new game+ for the DLCs, or give an option to include this all in the main story.
Dude just get the actual game and this dlc together
I agree with that, it’s annoying when you upgrade everything in the main game and then you have to reupgrade everything. As least it makes sense in the missing link dlc tho since Adam gets everything tooken away
Very underrated game. One of my favorite stealth games!!
Stealth?? What's that?
you´re playing it so smoothly its really nice to watch thank you!

Really nice video, and you are playing very carefully and smoothly, but why are you using your stun gun and THEN knocking them out? ^^
I was guessing: they don't make noises if they are stunned before, right?
I love how in the begining the baseball voice guy is actually Wayne Haas
yep, was so happy to hear the voice.
if you pay attention, he voices many thugs in the game!
