thx for clarifying the need for memory cues vs hot cues. That makes more sense to me now. Although I use Pioneer only sporadically, other hardware manufacturers use mostly hot cues. Auto cues, not for me, though...
Rekordbox auto cue is poorly implemented and does not distiguish between hot cues or memory cues. But if you have 100 fresh songs and need some sort of rudimentary cue placement done very quickly it will suffice as a band-aid placeholder until you can come back and fix it.
I'd never use this feature. There's no way AI can know my exact preferences and thought process. My cue points are colour coded and where I set them varies a lot depending on multiple factors; this involves actually LISTENING to your tracks and setting them with intention.
what's next? If you have problems Djing, a new feature mixes all the songs for you and also you can hire an AI to play all the gigs for you while displaying a hologram of your face.
I dunno, if you're only doing simple queues like in the video then this is a good feature as this is just busy work. Nothing interesting or creative going on. If it actually works that is.

Good call on the pre-roll before the cues,. Been doing this manually for years, would be nice if they do an update where you can set an offset
