I have heard from Cubans saying not to support tourism in Cuba because it only supports the communist government. Most people are in great need. The food supply is very low for most cubans. Infrastructure is falling apart. What are your thoughts on this?
I have heard this as well, from Cubans that live outside of Cuba. All of my Cuban friends and teachers rely on tourism to survive and take care of their families. My group always brings things to donate to people in need. It’s an extremely complicated subject, and each person has their own opinion about it.
