A Virtual Tour of the Tri-County Recycling Facility in Appleton, Wisconsin

Welcome to the Tri-County Recycling Facility in Appleton, Wisconsin. Our single-stream recycling facility opened in 2009 as a partnership operation between Brown, Outagamie, and Winnebago Counties. Our materials recovery facility (MRF) is operated by the Outagamie County Recycling & Solid Waste staff.
In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, we decided to put our educational tours to the public on hold to ensure the safety of our staff. Shortly after deciding to do so, our Recycling & Solid Waste Program Coordinator started offering virtual tours of our recycling operations, which ultimately resulted in the creation of this video.
As you watch this video, you will be taken on a virtual tour of our recycling operations from start to finish. Along the way, you will meet several of our characters at Outagamie County who will be teaching you some important recycling do's and don'ts of the Tri-County Recycling Facility.
