This is something I'd like to check out with my Attitude III. I'm a heavy-handed player and the bass is tuned down to C standard. I've had the bass set up by two different techs and I still can't get the fret buzzing out and the action low enough.

Yeah, for something like that - a PLEK might just do the trick tbh!!

Fret buzz doesn't matter if it's not coming out of the speaker, as the bass or guitar is not an acoustic instrument. It's made to be plugged into an amp. You're supposed to lower the action until you hear fet buzz coming out of your speaker, then raise it until it's gone.

Robo Luithers are cool, a human touch is still finishing step.

Yeah, and that’s what makes this process so cool! Basse did a GREAT job with the finishing setup and whatnot! 😀

@@erikarko I’ve got a 83 Yamaha SE300H guitar that needs at minimum a few frets replaced.. I wonder if my Luither has access to such a bot or if’n he’ll just say “This is Thomas he is our PLEK, tell him what you’d like.”
They did an amazing job on my HB Sc Custom FR guitar with some high frets, it felt almost identical my Jackson rhoads pro when they were done.)
It helps when your Luither looks like Santa and everything he fixes feels like a Christmas present. Very reasonable prices too! But how many Luither are ya gonna find here on the moon???

@@PooNinja The moon isn’t an easy place to find good staff… ask Angus, he knows!
