Little suggestion on design. Products like the pencil holder can be printed faster if you alter corners to chamfers or even better would be fillets so long as the fillet runs vertically. The printer has to slow to a stop to change direction for a 90 degree turn.
I'm looking for ideas to print and I went through several of the ones listed here in your video but I noticed they aren't allowed to be sold commercially according to the licensing.
Not only it printed without any support but it looked like hight quality with that. Want to see more photos of that one, cant belive what I'm seeing :P
@connorf1744 adhesives just doesn't stick well to petg dunno why. ASA is resistant to UV rays so it wont break down in the sun or bleack as fast as other plastics
I bought my Grand Niece 10 years old a Qidi X-Smart-3 for her birthday this year and her Dad bought me a Qidi X Max 3 so we are both noobs learning 3D printing. Oh what fun.
@Nednal404 If you could download an object or an STL file for free... That means it's yours. However, if you're going to try to sell it.. You have to alter it in some way, Before you can say it is yours..
The coin thing would be illegal if you tried to use it as legal tender.. But if an owner of a store tells you, That you can three d print coins for their machines... And you can make money from that because the store owner wanted you to do it.. Then you just made a profit. After you sell the coins , what they do with is none of your business.
These are shopping cart tokens. In many parts of the world, Europe in particular, a coin is used to unlock a cart for use while you shop. After paying for your groceries, you return the cart to the others and you insert the lock into the mechanism, which returns your coin to you. They’re used as a way to encourage bringing your cart back so they’re not stolen. So, even when using a real coin, it’s more of a deposit for the cart in use than a payment. These plastic coin shaped tokens (particularly ones you can attach to your keychain) are very common and widely used, especially as fewer and fewer people carry actual change. Nothing illegal about it.

Seed planting is what I would put my energy into. Rhere is a need ro fill. The Pen holder also sounds good. I would like to hear more of your ideas, the passion of printed plastic, in your opinion. Have you tried TPU, it's flexible. There is a version called NinjaTPU, a case for inserting on your phone.
It’s not called “ninjaTPU”, it is “ninjaflex” from ninjatek, they also have other TPUs. The problem with soft TPU is that it is hard to print. There are also many other companies making soft TPU, not just ninjatek.
I printed some of those seed starters for my wife. They are good, but a lot of print time goes into them. The same designer has a new version out which is maybe not quite as nice, but it prints in much less time. Some of the features of the new version may also print better if your part cooling isn't quite up to snuff.

The train tracks are a great idea
WOW! Those items are pretty cool.
I’m surprised that controller printed without support? Command strips are awesome and great list
Yes, no supports needed. It's a great print! I printed 4 for my kids.
@@everythingSTEM, I usually print mine horizontally.
@@everythingSTEM Can you share the print settings for the controller?
I just printed this joycon case, made it without supports
Not only it printed without any support but it looked like hight quality with that. Want to see more photos of that one, cant belive what I'm seeing :P
Nice to meet you thanks for the tips!
Could you share some details how that joycon controller was printed? What layer height, material, etc? It looks like injection moulded :O
High resolution, and maybe try carbon fiber infused pla, looks REALLY sharp
Congratulations! Very good ideas
Thank you!
@@everythingSTEMare you looking for an artist that can create a custom 3d ship for printing?
Hello, this is a wonderfull video, do you have other ideas for commercial uses ?
Thank you, stay tuned :)
Tip to you printers. Petg and command strips don't mix.
Also ASA is the way to go for anyout door prints such as those planters
Thanks for the advice!
I use ABS.
Why’s that?
@connorf1744 adhesives just doesn't stick well to petg dunno why. ASA is resistant to UV rays so it wont break down in the sun or bleack as fast as other plastics
Thanks for your ideas 💡❤
Glad you like them!
excelent

How do you like the Qidi max? I am thinking of one next!
Those qr codes… how do you make sure the “link” stays online?
Hi. Where do I find details of the printer and filaments you used here?
Hi! Thanks for watching :) I've added links to my filaments and printers in the description. Enjoy!
How’d you do the QR scanner with a single color printer??
stop the print at a certain layer before it changes colors then change filament and resume the print
Yes exactly! I used “pause at layer x”
Anything that you can get from the internet that you can 3D print you can sell.. Once you buy or find a 3D file it becomes yours.
you need the rights for selling it
@Nednal404 If you could download an object or an STL file for free... That means it's yours. However, if you're going to try to sell it.. You have to alter it in some way, Before you can say it is yours..
how do i get the stl file
cool video
Thanks ☺️
Looking for information on the QR code Thanks
All the links to the STL files are found in my post 😊 teachyourkidscode.com/3d-printing-ideas-to-sell/
Does this turn a profit?
I feel like coin thing is illegal.

You keep saying "I think it would be". Do you actually have experience selling these items or no?
Are these your designs or are you illegally selling others' designs?
If you read my article you’ll see I selected designs with commercial use licenses. Always need to recheck before selling 🙂
@@everythingSTEMcan I sell the items in this video?
@@BenChesson you need to check the license of each file for commercial use rights.
@@everythingSTEM ok ty
If you watch video she even says make sure you have a commercial licence for your items ....
