❤️🎄 I Love to change it up every year… always depending on my mood and situation. : ). I keep advent so my advent wreath goes up first and I always switch that up yearly. And then I slowly decorate as the season progresses. So it’s a continuous switching it up and decorating. We leave most stuff up until Feb 2nd… the presentation. But by then I have scaled back the decor and rearranged it to mostly neutrals. So start off and end kind of neutral. We’ve been doing lots of red, black, white and gold. This year I plan more of the dark green and silver. 😍 happy decorating!
I love hallmark movies because they are sweet innocent escapes from this crazy sometimes mean world! My favorite movie is The Christmas Card-I think that’s the name. I watch it over and over!

I have already put up one Christmas tree in my dining room. I used copper and gold colored ornaments on my King of Christmas flocked tree. I always start early decorating so I can really enjoy hosting throughout December. Everything you’ve done so far is gorgeous! Home Alone one and two, and Christmas With the Kranks are absolutes for me. Also love the original two Mrs. Miracle movies. My Christmas is usually more of a country theme, I guess, and I do my kitchen in gingerbread. Hoping to get started tomorrow on all of it, we've recently had some work done at home, and just got to get a door painted, first coat is done, so when it's finished, Christmas will be busting out in here, lol! Can't wait to see all of your things!🎄🎄🎄
I love deer too, and leave them up for winter ❄️ My husband puts his train under the tree each year, he says it’s for the kids and grandkids , but I’m pretty sure it’s really for him 😉

Girl guess what! I’m going to have my first grand baby in April! I don’t know the gender yet, but she is having a gender reveal next month. It is a little answered prayer. Thank you Jesus! I’m not sure what I want it to call me …probably Mimi. My two sons and daughters in law went to Italy, Spain, and France this September. They brought me back a bib that said Nonna. I thought of you. My one daughter In law is part Italian the one that is pregnant. We are just over the moon. My home is mostly a log cabin rustic theme, but in my kitchen it’s gingerbread. I love the traditional red and gold too and I just blend it in with my mountain theme. I have deer horns, owls, burlap, deer.Christmas plaid bows on my tree, along with my kid home made ornaments , my mother always bought my boys special bear ornaments and they go on the tree. I do a small gingerbread tree in my kitchen with gingerbread old cookie cutters, an array of candy , I have warm white lights on both trees and on gingerbread tree a have a fun strand of red and green bulbs that look like gum balls. I can’t wait to see your decor . I’m so excited for you all going to see Ralphie and the cast….sounds like so much fun.
My theme-we buy a real Christmas tree, fresh pine garland and fresh pine wreaths and poinsettias. The pine smell throughout the house is divine. Not crazy for all that plastic toxic elements in my home. I string popcorn and cranberry as tree garland and when it’s all over place on outdoor trees for the birds and outdoor critters. I also stopped watching the Woke Hallmark channel.

Girl guess what! I’m going to have my first grand baby in April! I don’t know the gender yet, but she is having a gender reveal next month. It is a little answered prayer. Thank you Jesus! I’m not sure what I want it to call me …probably Mimi. My two sons and daughters in law went to Italy, Spain, and France this September. They brought me back a bib that said Nonna. I thought of you. My one daughter In law is part Italian the one that is pregnant. We are just over the moon.
My home is mostly a log cabin rustic theme, but in my kitchen it’s gingerbread. I love the traditional red and gold too and I just blend it in with my mountain theme. I have deer horns, owls, burlap, deer.Christmas plaid bows on my tree, along with my kid home made ornaments , my mother always bought my boys special bear ornaments and they go on the tree. I do a small gingerbread tree in my kitchen with gingerbread old cookie cutters, an array of candy , I have warm white lights on both trees and on gingerbread tree a have a fun strand of red and green bulbs that look like gum balls.
I can’t wait to see your decor . I’m so excited for you all going to see Ralphie and the cast….sounds like so much fun.
My theme-we buy a real Christmas tree, fresh pine garland and fresh pine wreaths and poinsettias. The pine smell throughout the house is divine. Not crazy for all that plastic toxic elements in my home. I string popcorn and cranberry as tree garland and when it’s all over place on outdoor trees for the birds and outdoor critters. I also stopped watching the Woke Hallmark channel.

I no longer watch Hallmark channel, they have gotten so far away of traditional and Christian values. Instead I watch Great American Family and UP channels.
On the other hand I appreciate that the Hallmark channel is finally becoming a little more inclusive.
