For pyro application mavuika use E and Xl use burst Mavuika doesn't rely on her burst to apply pyro, yeah without it she and the active character do less dmg but you don't NEED it for the rotation unlike Xl

Yeah but Xilonen is constantly in the best teams in the game, Neuvillette has been the #1 dps in the game forever now and hes an HP scaler. Also what Mavuika and Xilonen do is guaranteed, with Xiangling she just decides randomly to not have energy. This also means you dont have to build ER with your artifacts.
She will be still the polearm archon, and Bennett is still on the throne. Nothing can power creep Bennett. Some people won't pull mavuika, so xiangling is still there for everyone. Remember the xiangling copypasta, no pun intended..

As a Childe main, I've been pyronadoing for years. When Xiangling showed up on akasha, I found out she was one of the top characters on my account. I was so annoyed when I pulled Navia and I found out her best combo was Benny/XL + Geo, don't use my Wriothesley bc of the lack of melt options, and skipped Clorinde bc I wanted to play her in overload and that brought me to the same problem. I don't care if Mavuika does half the damage of my XL at this point.
Mavuika looks really good as a support for mualani to me. the ER issues with xiangling cost me like 20 seconds in speed runs . mualani although extremely clunky is imo strongest dps in the game (not the best by any means) hoping this makes her less clunky
As long as no other Pyro units apply Pyro as fast as her, then no. Mavuika solves Xiangling's energy issue by not needing energy for the off field Pyro, but she only applies it every 2 seconds. So this means there will always be some specific niche that Xiangling might be preferred for off field pyro app.

Yes, Bennet, fischl, kuki or even sucrose are far better than xiangliang to invest in early game. And they only need C2 (kuki) atmost to feel complete. While Xianliang needs c4 to even feel usable

But the catch is incredible for her. Or raiden, if you have her. Compared to that, mavuika has no great f2p option. And artefacts: The emblem domain is imo the best domain in the entire game. EOSF can be used by XL, XQ, Raiden, and so many characters. You also get a great set alongside: SR. Compared to that, mavuikas best artefact is obsidian codex, which is useless for non natlan characters.

According to theory crafters the pyro archon is gonna make wrio teams a lot stronger. Its wrio bennet xilonen and mavuika. This is cuz her pyro app doesn't last that long meaning u can react with cryo with xilonen. (She also can do more damage on the team than wrio himself but thats not the point)
Yay my main wrio must pull her for his upgrading. I always xilonen can't crystalize cryo for 40%cryo dmg bonus. But after her showcase I totally satisfy with her sp in his team. Maybe in the future will have more new arts to wear for sp maybe mvk only wears cinder and xilonen wears a new one and his dmg will be eventually higher than ever. For these current vers, I accept to wear obsidian for mavuika in his team, he may give her crown of more dmg for temporary to get her c2 20% def res 😍 to be shined in his way.
Raiden allows my 160er xiangling to burst every other rotation so she hits like a truck in the raiden national team 😂 basically raiden indirectly buffing everyone in her team by allowing them to feel like 300er character with less than 170 er
Xilonen came out a few patches ago and is constantly every team bis 😂 funny how even kazuha got powercrept indirectly because of how nightsoul work. They're definately not same and kazuha rarely have 1000 em if you want to burst constantly

It depends on the team but the difference between them isnt high enough for it to be an outright powercreep at c0 but if your looking for comfort then yeah mavuika beats her in that department but in pyro app xiangling beats her

Mavuika's off-field pyro app is only good at being mediocre. 280% ER Xiangling is bonkers. Her personal dmg does not matter with Mualani. Roid her ER out to the gills😆. With C4 pyronado I can proc instructor's with another hydro bot and still manage to land 3 shark bites. Meanwhile Mavuika's E applies every 2 seconds and on top of that her ult-locked dmg buff decays. It is not even funny.
@TheGenshinIdiot Nah, it is based on my own experience. My buddy has a 280% Xiangling and she is bonkers. The trick is to cast Guoba and keep XL on the field then have it do 3x fire breaths and collect the elemental particles then proc the burst.

Xaingling will never be powercrept.. hoyo made sure of that..smh. the fact that xaingling has 0 icd and her tornado last 14 seconds and mavuika only applies Pyro 6 times dictate that
probably not proper powercreep but massive Comfort powercreep, which is enough for me, the only team i play that need off field pyro is mualani and mavuika solves the xiangling issue🤷♂
@AKDE83 Yeah, that's awesome.. but you don't use up potentially up to 150 pulls just for solving some er issues.. she needs to actually be better than xaingling, I'm not saying players shouldn't pull, but hoyo really made a mess of giving us an archon that does everything

Xiangling is honestly overrated because of the copypasta, the true character I think they regret making is Bennett. Bro's atk buffing is just so broken that if another character comes out that rivals or surpasses him, people will just start using both of them together

It depends on the team but the difference between them isnt high enough for it to be an outright powercreep at c0 but if your looking for comfort then yeah mavuika beats her in that department but in pyro app xiangling beats her

That's assuming the person who likes Mavuika also likes Xilonen. If Mavuika's optimal team requires a natlan unit, I'd rather get another pyro dps or even another character instead of having to get 2 characters.

i also try to avoid burst reliant characters but some cases are worst than others and xiangling definitely is THE worst

Her dps c0 maybe same with arlecc c1. pyro sub dps is the best. sp role is even another back-up niche whenever she is out meta in versions 6.x, 7.x in the future. Mavuika's off-field pyro app is only good at being mediocre.
280% ER Xiangling is bonkers. Her personal dmg does not matter with Mualani. Roid her ER out to the gills😆.
With C4 pyronado I can proc instructor's with another hydro bot and still manage to land 3 shark bites.
Meanwhile Mavuika's E applies every 2 seconds and on top of that her ult-locked dmg buff decays. It is not even funny.

@TheGenshinIdiot Nah, it is based on my own experience. My buddy has a 280% Xiangling and she is bonkers.
The trick is to cast Guoba and keep XL on the field then have it do 3x fire breaths and collect the elemental particles then proc the burst.
I also hate this character i mean this mf needs a fkin infinite suns to power her burst every rotation and even that might not be enough plus lemme tell you mine is on around also 200 plus er and double pyro with benny
