They showed highlights of this team in Serbia, back in the day, because of Vlade. This is my first team, these are my guys and the reason why I got interested in the NBA. Muggsy, Curry, Rice, Mase, Divac, my mount Rushmore +1. Glen Rice is my basketball deity ♥️41!
The Hornets from '94-'02 had a lot of fun exciting teams to watch. '94-'95 ZO-LJ, '95-'96 Rice-LJ, '96-'98 Divac-Rice-Mason, '98-'00 Jones-Phills-Wesely-Mase, '00-'02Baron-Mash-Campbell-Brown. After '02 it has never been as fun to watch Hornets. They never got back the exciting star power they had from the mid 90's to the early '00s.
@@doctorx1924 i see why you say that but i refuse to agree because I'm the 1990's the league had the elite versions of michael jordan and hakeem olajuwon
Im a Bulls fan but this Charlotte team in the mid/late 90s made a fan. They never got the respect they deserved and I loved watching this team into the early 2000s.
I'm a heat fan since 88 ( after heat I loved hornets)....I was so happy seeing G-Money lead a squad and be the superstar he was. Your welcome Charlotte. Sincerely pat riley. Lol
the clippers hornets and timberwolves also prevented john stockton karl malone patrick ewing clyde drexler charles barkley and hakeem olajuwon from scoring 55 points
King Richard the Lionheart not necessary true as the hornets already had a trade for the lakers as they needed a big man which they already agreed to trade their pick for Kobe to get vlade Divac at the end
the best players ever literally always have and will be #1 tied wilt chamberlain and bill russell #2 oscar robertson #3 kareem abdul-jabbar #4 michael jordan #5 magic johnson

R.I.P Mason..this was the squad that I fell in love with when I watched Hornets basketball.
Then Wesley and Phills came in and I loved it even more.
What about that team that had Mashburn and Davis that lost to the big three in Milwaukee of Cassel, Big Dog and Allen. That was a good team too.
Charlotte hornets had the best looking court in the NBA
Yeah, the court, the colours, the jerseys and the logo during the 90's were awesome!
Hornets Hardball! That shorter 3-point line was absolute child's play for Glen Rice.

The only team that’s been even close to as exciting was the al Jefferson & Kemba Team from 2014-2016
@@d-upcomix 'agreed. I liked that team in '15 that had Jeremy Lin on it. I felt he had a brief resurrection with the hornets. It was fun to watch.
the hornets best playoff years were #1 1998 and #2 1993
@@youtuber3328 2001 was their best playoff run. They went to the second round and went to 7 games with the bucks.

Charlotte Hornets 97 @ Sacramento Kings 93 (01-12-1997) Rice 26 Points
Rip Anthony Mason and Kobe. Rip Bobby Phills who started playing for Charlotte the year after this.
That 1998 Playoff series versus Atlanta was electric! Unfortunately the Chicago Bulls were waiting in the next round!
the hornets played well enough to take a 2-0 lead over the hawks before winning 3-1
the hornets played well enough to get a 1-1 tie with the bulls before losing 4-1
Toronto Raptors 98 @ Charlotte Hornets 109 (11-02-1996) Curry 38 Points

Vlade always makes teams better the moment he gets there
Baron,Jamal,David,Elden,P.J.,Jamaal,Lynch,Augmon,Traylor, that was the team.good times
Kobe being on The Hornets would've changed Sports forever
I'm a heat fan since 88 ( after heat I loved hornets)....I was so happy seeing G-Money lead a squad and be the superstar he was. Your welcome Charlotte. Sincerely pat riley. Lol
how do you feel about the hornets trading alonzo mourning
GMoney on the Hornets is my favorite player ever
That was fun team to watch

WE THE NORTH
the bullets kept the games closer than the clippers hornets and timberwolves but allowed michael jordan to score 55 points in the game two 109-104 win
Riley gave charlotte rice and then mashburn/pj Brown.
Mash/PJ Brown for Eddie Jones. Which was a ripoff for Miami at that time.
why do you say that
@@doctorx1924And Mason. Miami was fully loaded in 2001, but Mourning 's kidney disease changed everything
#6 larry bird #7 jerry west #8 hakeem olajuwon #9 shaquille o'neal and #10 elgin baylor
The 1998 team was a little better.
the playoffs count the most and the 1998 hornets went to round 2
just like the 1997 hawks the hornets tied round two 1-1 with the bulls before losing 4-1
the 1996 knicks had patrick ewing but they didn't beat the bulls until game 3 before losing 4-1
the hornets best playoff years were #1 1998 and #2 1993
Also 2002 had great team lost in second round
Hornets got eliminated by LJ in 97 😂 he showed out against Charlotte
the playoffs count the most and the 1997 hornets were swept 3-0 just like the clippers bullets and timberwolves
I wonder if the season would of been different if the Hornets didn’t trade Kobe Bryant to the lakers
King Richard the Lionheart not necessary true as the hornets already had a trade for the lakers as they needed a big man which they already agreed to trade their pick for Kobe to get vlade Divac at the end
nonone wants to play for charlotte LOL
He said they had enough guards and forwards so he knew he would not be getting a lot of minutes
what about the hornets trading alonzo mourning
