"Karb" (plural: Karby) - is a carved sign, a brand, earmark, a trace, a memory of the past, of what has been experienced. The title of the program was inspired by the story called "Karby" from the same named cycle of the short stories from Hutsul life by the great Ukrainian writer Marko Cheremshyna.
