Presentation by Marcio Koba - Open Maker coordinator

Marcio Koba always liked studying science and technology, but he only became a maker after he had my eldest son.
He entered the USP Polytechnic School in 1998 to study civil engineering and graduated in 2004 as a licensed professor in Physics. He worked in several schools teaching courses, high school, elementary school and early childhood education. He has taught several courses in Physics, laboratory classes, Maker Education, STEAM Education and Robotics.
He was the founder of Open Maker in 2019 and has already created a programming course with Arduino to teach how to use various sensors, Robotics, Science, games and home automation. In 2022 he founded OSC Dispensados dos Apriscos to raise funds so we can continue producing free content with open licenses.
Today, Koba continues as coordinator of cultural projects at Open Maker.
