- Mon run complet de la Megavalanche 2019 de l'île de La Réunion! 3ème place!

Une descente de 22km et 2300 mètres de dénivelé négatif, autant physique que technique.
Vainqueur des qualifications la veille, je profite d'un placement avantageux en grille de départ pour réaliser un beau début de course. La bataille a ensuite été rude avec Rémy Absalon et Olivier Bruwiere pour maintenir le podium jusqu'au bout!
Il n'est pas seulement question de lâcher les freins...Peu importe le terrain, la Megavalanche est une course stratégique où il faut savoir analyser, temporiser et accélerer aux bons moments. Tenir la cadence du sommet du Maïdo jusqu'en bord de plage n'a pas été une mince affaire, croyez-moi!

I would totally get lost in that race at least 3-4 times specially in those branchy forests and so many paths in that plantation.. super crazy !

Man this is so rough. It's a miracle to me that you were able to follow the path ...
When i follow a mtb track i go 10 times as slow and probably miss about 5 times the right direction when i try out a new one. Although, in most cases its because the direction signs are overgrown and not visible anymore.
I love the added obstacles of traffic and pedestrians on the course.
Damn.. is K. Bron get weaker ? The first 2 were like an antelope and a speeding horse.. holly smokes what a race !
@@poplaurentiu4148 Bron is unbelievable fast, but - I wonder how they are doing - some are even faster....his uphill talents should be upgraded though.
C'est insensé, des piétons, des voitures, et même une poussette. Et le parcours pas toujours bien indiqué. Au niveau organisation et sécurité, c'est vraiment mauvais.

@@KandiKlover That's exactly what I thought! Those bikes glided over tree roots, rocks and mud. What a nightmarish course! Looked like something out of The Dark Crystal! Insane.

Everytime you covered the camera I thought I was going to die:>) peace. Also you guys deserve way more money and sponsorships this is a born again sport thanks to you guys and girls. Electric bikes are the future and this is more fun to watch than any Nascar race? very good 2020 all the best I may have to start racing like this:>) crazy cool and stress relief, freedom of time and most important it's a underated sport until now I see 2021 being a great year for these guys More interest equals bigger events more frequent events and higher pay for everyone involved. Keep going strong and Love Life / Fuck hate.

I love how some of the people can't be chuffed to wait a few hours to walk down the middle of the road in the race circuit or drive around blind corners.
I saw one race the other day where a guy was sitting in a lawn chair with his feet sticking into the coarse right at the apex of a corner and the same one had a dog off leash that was chasing the riders.

What a brilliant race to watch...full of surprises, twists and turns...but I agree it is a little hard to keep track of the course.more blue tape needed to mark the way!

Very poorly marked race, seeing more and more of that in race videos, and just wondering how lazy the promoters are getting
that they can't marked the race course so much better then they do. If your going to promote a race, please take the time to marked
your race course so that every racer will have the same chance at doing their best on the same course! Just the correct way to do things!

Terrible course markings, several times it was a guessing game. Expect more from the organisers at this level.
23:00 that leaf really turbocharged you. consider bringing some leaves up to the mountain top to gain that speed at the start too
