Congrats on working on your faith! I know sometimes the way we have perceived faith in the past can anger and confuse us, but keep searching for the truth! It can sometimes be a rocky road, but it’s so worth it! As a Catholic, I can wholeheartedly say that the peace and happiness that I carry in my heart every day comes straight from the friendship I have built with Jesus over the years! I’m so proud of you❤️ Also…from what I’ve seen, I believe we’re about the same age, which is pretty cool! I’ll be praying for you, sister💕
I’m honestly really happy to hear you’re looking to Jesus again. Your faith has actually been on my mind recently; a few times you had mentioned your interest in Buddhism, and shared many of the difficulties that you’ve gone through; I can really tell that you are searching for God.
I’ll say that it sounds like you aren’t the biggest fan of the organized religion and the legalism aspect that some Christians/church’s can get pulled into. I don’t blame you if that’s how you feel. I think they sometimes can put too much emphasis on our own works and ability, and distract from the saving Grace of Christ that can transform our hearts. Christianity at its core though.. as you mentioned, is a personal relationship with Jesus. There’s some things that go into being like Christ, but the key is for us to delve into God’s word. As we pursue christ and God to the best of our broken ability; it’s by their power that we are healed and made a new person/creation! Keep on chasing God!

i know this is an old post and you probably won’t see this, but for me and hopefully for others i’m gonna make this comment anyways. i really appreciate you making this post, i don’t really have someone that i share my religion and faith with, so this video helped a lot for me. also about the part where you said something about how you didn’t like the whole thing that christian’s believe with “if you don’t do this you’re going to hell, if you do this you’ll go to heaven” i agree completely. i’m a christian but hyperchristians stress me out. life should be lived how you want because at the end of the day, not everything that christian’s say will get you in or out of heaven is necessarily true. i just learned that i’m a christian for God and for Jesus, and not for other christians. that helped me realize that i can identify as a christian without agreeing with all other christians. i hope this reached somebody who maybe experienced the same thing as me ❤

I’m finding your channel for the first time and I’m not sure where you stand with these topics today but as a follower of Jesus and a spiritual sister to you I would like to encourage you to ask questions!! I know a lot of religious thinking is that you can’t questions God but His ways and thoughts are higher than ours and sometimes the only thing we can do is ask God questions. We might not always get answers or the answers want or were expecting BUT don’t ever shy away from asking those questions because that’s one way God will show you His character

i hate how the Christian religion sometimes makes it like what you said, "if you don't do this you'll go to hell." I think that is what gives Christians such a bad rap. I didn't become a Christian because I was scared of hell, I became a Christian because of the joy and the peace God gives. Good job girlie for wanting more of a relationship with Him :)
Glad to hear about you growing in your faith, it really is a wonderful thing :) I heard you say sometimes you have questions and it can be hard, which I think everyone does sometimes. Toxic relationships always find me.. been doing my research and working on this after my extremely toxic and abusive relationship came to a end after 2 years... Part of me had DEFINITELY died. Something innocent and kind.. but it's ok I am working on me now (F/26)
