In this video, @Baablu and @Fantst try to hunt me down before I can speedrun Minecraft and beat the Ender Dragon! But what they didn't know was that FALLING UPGRADES ME! Every time I fall 20 blocks or more, I get a skill point! I can then use that skill point to upgrade myself and get super OP!

this is minecraft manhunt but falling upgrades me. this is a minecraft manhunt challenge minecraft manhunt with a twist also known as speedrunner vs hunter popularized by dream minecraft manhunt dream speedrunner vs hunter. this is not a minecraft but challenge or a minecraft smp video. inspired by creators like boosfer, kier and dev, yellowool, dream, baablu, qndres, colorcrew and more.

after finally adding resistance to the twist the game quickly became way easier, since they can't just take a quick snooze next to you in the end or nether and insta-kill you because "ur in op loot enchanted!" or whatever, this was fun to watch!

There's something called 'cutting,'
And if you don't know, manhunts take 1 - 3 hours, so for shorter content, people like Kier and Dev and Bubbo cut the video to interesting parts.
Pay attention to the Saturation bar.

Went on a binge watching spree, at times you can clearly see they are letting him go, cuts when he is low or just makes no sense but still entertaining and enjoyable.
Yeah I noticed immediately at 2:22 where he gets to one heart then instantly cuts to him having nearly full. Normal manhunts keep those sections in since that what makes it intense

they probably thought he wasn't low at all when they thought he had resistance and when the cut resumes you can see he ate 3 steaks

@ethandonaldson6011 No, he didn't. I understand you want to be delusional about this, but there is no reason for him to cut there unless he died. That was the most engaging part of the video and seeing his escape would have been insane. Only thing is, he didn't escape. He died, or he told the hunters to stop and then he healed up with steak. I have played lots of minecraft and while you can escape from those situations with bad players, you simply cannot if they are even decent at the game. They are good, better than decent. There was no escape for him.
i loved it when Bubbo said "its Upgradin' Time!" and upgraded all over the place. these were truly the upgrades of all time.

They Are Cheating Lol
He did a cut in the video, Manhunts usually last 1-2 maybe 3 hours so its cut down and its mainly cut to show the funny/interesting parts so its not boring and just running, etc for like a half an hour straight. Every Manhunt ever gets edited down unless its a live stream or an uncut version.
@@Void.W.A. To add on, his steak goes down by 3 after the cut and right before the cut, he goes into a 1 block wide space, which we can assume he’d be safe after blocking after allowing him easily enough time to heal
7 steak -> 4 steak kinda explains it, but cutting down fights is very bad idea, especially in cases like this

Yeah but he didnt, his xp is the same AND his hotbar is in the exact same layout as the prior clip, excluding the steak which decreased, and his hinger increased

Defense: Gives Resistance, Regeneration, & Health
Movement: Gives Speed, Jump Boost, & Fall Resistance
Magic: Allows Fireball, Lightning, & Potion Summoning
Helmet: Night Vision, Water Breathing
Chestplate: Explosion Resistance, Wings
Leggings: Depth Strider, Protection
Boots: Soul/Sneak Speed, Lava Walking
Sword: Sharpness, Knockback, Looting, Electric (Causes entities to be stunned)
Axe: Sharpness, Looting, Fire Aspect
Pickaxe: Efficiency, Fortune, Explosive (Vein Mining)

I love this idea, mainly the upgrade/ skill points to upgrade things, I really want this data pack/mod
Are we going to ignore the fact that they found out he had resistance without any form of way for them to know, and the fact he was at half a heart before changing clips so we can't see he died
The cut I agree with being sketchy but know he had resistance no so much. Particle effects are on and they're not all the same colour. One of them even said it might have been the hunger effect from rotten flesh. It's possible for them to know the particle effect colour and, assuming they've done twists like this in the past, learned the difference.
Problem with that theory, his XP levels didnt change. so he couldn't of died

It could be interesting if you do something similar to this, but with time. Such as all hunter get 1 upgrade token and you get 1 token from every hunter plus one more. It could be interesting to see a game of managing good upgrades and have a decently fair fight.

Fun Fact: Because haste makes you attack and mine faster in java edition, having haste 255 will allow you to use axes like it's 1.8 pvp.

How about a spicy twist, taking damage gives you benifits...benefits...
Like say each time you take fire damage, you go from fire proc, to your weapons gain fire damage, to you gain fire resistance, every arrow shot makes you go from projectile proc to thorns to infinity, and so on, making you take more risks for more rewards.
although buboo was so over confident there he could have lose if only the hunters stack up but they didn't have enough time to do that so risky but a legend play what a video its good

Yall who calling it fake because of what happened at 2:20 need to understand how content creators work. They dont always go 100% at the beginning and sometimes pull off to keep the video going. He might have said to chill during the cut, but its for the content.

Minecraft manhunt but your hunters are role models! And they can only wear one type of armor per slot! Example gold boots, leather helmet, iron chest plate! But they can’t put on iron legs because they are Wearing the iron chest plate!
